Well, save for some annoying new characters and the disjointed narrative, this is a worthy addition to the main canon. It took me about 8 hours to play through the main game, which is about average for me on Resident Evil games, so it's as in-depth as any of the platform games.

Also, the RAID mode is the shit. I never really got into the Mercenaries mini-games but the new RAID mode is as involving as the main story game.

Anyone else check this out? If you're a fan of RE, this is a game that's worth owning the 3DS for .  I can't wait for Resident Evil 6, although it looks like that follows the more "action" feel of RE5. Revelations has a little more atmosphere to it. And if you hated the partner mode of RE5, you'll like this slightly better. They don't drain any of your resources but they also do jack shit in the boss battles. I found myself wishing Chris would go away in the final fight.

And healing yourself has been reduced to just green herbs that completely replenish your life, so the items continue to be consolidated.

Overall, it's well worth the slightly higher price tag this carries from the other 3DS games.
