ISSUE SEVEN IS UP!

Thread Starter
A lot of time went into making sure all the audio worked and everything and it does!

There are five usages of the word "FEEDER" on the page and a DVD to the first to find them all. Email me at nick@chud.com with your answers and the email with the earliest arrival time wins. I will help NOBODY.

Please use this forum as a place to comment on the issue.

In 2 or 3 weeks, we launch issue 8, which is the SEA BEAST issue! All submissions by April 10th, please.

Um, couldn't help but notice, but my story isn't there. *shrug* Just, ya know, whatever.
Also, when I click to continue with HAM's story, it takes me back to the table of contents.

I had no idea that a story about undead phone sex could be so interesting. Good work, chenzzo!

Has Dave Davis even been to the board? Anyway, his was pretty cool.

It's okay, DJ, one or two of my reviews are missing as well. I guess he doesn't love us the same.
Thanks DJ, I had to stay up late a lot of nights to get all the reference I needed to make the story believable....hhehehe
post #7 of 36
Dave Davis has indeed been to the board, but only on a few occasions. Dave Davis is a busy man. But Dave Davis appreciates and feels validated by your comment. Dave Davis also promises to be more active on the boards, or Nick Nunziata will flay him
post #8 of 36
Speaking of gettng flayed, I did a review for 'The Dead Hate the Living' and 'Cemetery Man' for this issue, but neither are up. I don't know why, but if anyone wants to read them, e-mail me and I will call you and read them to you over the phone in my best sex-phone operator tone. Any takers? DJ?

OK, stuff falls through the cracks. It happens all the time. I have lost passwords, Reel.com Gift Certificates, and now it appears email submissions for Creature Corner. It wasn't intentional, and that kind of stuff happens.

That said, just about the only comments I've gotten about CCC #7 is about what's NOT in it as opposed to the SHITLOAD of stuff that is. I have made it a point to include everything folks submit to me for CCC instead of go through with a comb and weed out the stuff done in haste or stuff that may need a re-write or whatever.

Realize I spent from 6pm to 5am NONSTOP yesterday in order to have the issue up there and have all the audio prepared and uploaded (30+ megs of it) in time for when the Sewer Chewers start waking up and visiting.

The stuff Johnny and DJ Evil sent me were lost in the shuffle, and it's a shame. My emailbox is constantly being cleaned out to prevent corruption and those emails appear to be casualties.

I will add them to next issue, since SEA BEASTS has NO submissions as of yet. No harm no foul. For future reference, please enjoy what IS UP THERE. You have no idea what stuff I put aside to get that up there.

I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, but the defeatist "glass is half empty" mentality is contagious, and I personally think that as far as CHUD goes, we're filling that glass like motherfuckers.

Sorry, Nick, the issue really does look great, should've mentioned it before. We just like to whine sometimes, that's all.
I thought it went without saying that it ROCKED. It always rocks!

No luck with finding hidden words, eh?
Loving the issue, Nick! Thanks! Great stories in there.
no...no luck at all...
And to think I was really proud of myself for thinking that up.

I can't remember for the life of me where that idea came from...
If I'm not mistaken, it came from USA's UP all night!

Also, Nick-quit yer whinin' and go fix the Creature Corner-

You put Steve's name on your story, sillyhead -a fine tale, by the by. Somber and sad. I liked the dream.

Do zombies dream of undead sheep?

Great work, as always. And thanks for the opportunity to get read-even if it WAS a typo-laden PILE!

I'd shoot me.
As would many.
I'll pay your way here if you pull the trigger.

: ) : :.....

Ahh, forget it. Can't seem to take the edge off...

You like me, you really like me....

I just found the 5th "FEEDER!" Games up, dudes!

Yep. Found the first 4 within about the first hour yesterday, and then have been stumped. BUT:

My CHUD T-shirt came today, and damn that evil Nunziata, you can clearly read the word "FEEDER" hidden within the CHUD creature looming over the damsel in distress! Wow! What a sneaky word-hide!

***by the way, this is a joke. You can all keep looking. I haven't found them all yet.***

Funny thing is: Blofeld found the hardest one already. Looks like that freak is close to getting another DVD.
I'm certain you meant "freak" in the most respectful manner...

Is there a respectful manner?
Let me show you how a Viking Boat Oar can be used in a respectful manner.
OK, I'm armed with a mammoth chocolate chip cookie and some magically imbued french vanilla coffee, I will find the FEEDERS, hopefully, probably not, maybe at least 3 of 'em (got 2 so far).
What dark force did you use to hide them? Or am I pathetically blind?

You can blame the difficulty of the hiddens on Bond's nemesis.

He nabbed the old ones lickety split and I won'y go down quietly in the night.

Plus, I really enjoy being a tricky bastard.

Blofeld will be sharing the locations of all of the hidden ones shortly. Stay tuned.
Thank you. Thank you.
The locations of the 5 "feeder" are:

1) Main page -- to the right of Good Day, hidden text;

2) Issue #7 Editorial – you must access the editorial through the articles menu -- reading downward on the left masthead (to the right of other chud appendages);

3) Way down bottom-left corner, page 1 of Dave Davis' story;

4) Pg 2 of J. Pollack's story, forehead of zombie picture; and,

5) The Jester news article. Sweep your cursor over the CinemaZone ad at the bottom left. Watch the Jester poster.

Good to see the score hasn't changed in a long time!
