Never rented/seen it - looks too schlocky/try hard/generally shite. But it's supposedly Horror/Comedy.

Reminds me to throw out The Stuff and Society for appraisal - the laughs are more in the gross-out spectrum, but they might loosen up someone's memory for similar fare.

Which was the Phantasm movie that played more for laughs? The one where Reggie is kind of on a permanent quest to get laid.

Body Melt is schlocky but hilarious, you should check it out.
