A movie like Brainscan is unique. The characters in this film only exist in the time that the movie was made. Brainscan can almost be called a period film today due to its embracing the troubled...
Its a fun to play with friends, find fun quest and just have a blast! I have been playing for several years and i keep going back. always new things to do or find! Just wish there wasnt so many...
TLDNR REVIEW: “Amazing Spider-Man” is almost good, just like powdered mashed potatoes are almost real.
Look, guys. I realize that anyone that is reading this review has already made up their...
I'm trying to put an article together on this very subject. I've cobbled a few together but could use some help finding more. Any ideas or suggestions?
Not exactly unreleased but this *version* of the film was scrapped.
There was a teaser for a version of Where the Wild Things Are released back in 2000 before How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This version was subsequently cancelled. Never was able to find the teaser again.

I worked at a theater during that Christmas. If there was a Wild Things trailer, we never got it (never saw it with any Grinch showings).
Granted, it could have been similar to the first Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions trailer, where it played for just the first week of Episode II's run.
Looks like someone reuploaded that MGM reel from 1967. While there's plenty of quality stuff here (Point Blank! 2001!), a lot of never-made/long-gestating films are at the end.
Just for shits and giggles, I dug around on Google News and apparently this came real close to being produced - it was a post apocalyptic story set in the Pacific Northwest, and when the budget hit $7 million, Universal passed. Hal Barwood has called it 'the Road Warrior with trains.'
Great stuff! To think we could have had a "Spider Man" from the director of "The Prowler" and "Invasion USA" and "Friday the 13th IV" and "Missing In Action".
The fact that Battleship exists and "Road Warrior with trains" does not is a depressing thought. From now on, every movie should be "Road Warrior with trains." Every. Single. Movie.

Didn't they pretty much half-assedly attempt this in BEYOND THUNDERDOME?
This was on the Chaos Theory disk. Peter Berg was supposed to direct but apparently they couldn't crack just how to make it. Shouldn't of been too difficult but oh well.
Thanks for plugging my "never got made" series. I've been doing it for a few years and found some awesome stuff.
In fact, I just updated it today with the story of SEA OF SIN (1993), a killer mermaid flick that started production but didn't finish it. Check out the badass monster design below by artist Steve Fiorilla. Anyone interested, please feel free to check it out.
Also, regarding the original question of teaser trailers for films unreleased/never finished, George Pal did an extensive trailer for his WAR OF THE WORLDS series in the 1970s that never got off the ground. You can find it online.
A science fiction movie about time travel and other worlds based on an idea from the man who brought us The Manitou? How the fuck do I emigrate to the alternate universe where this actually happened? Also, I want to see Clearwater. Like, right now. Looks like it would make a great double bill with Zardoz.
