Alien also has the sense to keep its sexual subtext in the subtext, and several terrific, shocking plot twists, which tend to be overlooked now as they became iconic franchise/genre elements in their own right.  Prometheus's idea of a twist is that Charlize Theron is exactly who she says she is.

Of course it does this movie kills prometheus any day
This was 1995 great cast great special effects for it time some cgi
I never get lost in the story is it the greatest nope but in my opinion a better movie
