Accepting its existence will help kickstart the grieving process.

........and to think I thought they couldn't top part 1 in batshit insane ineptitude storytelling, just wow! In a way I'm sad to see this series go, it's been a long time this type of awfulness in film. Twilight has to truly be up there with the best of the worst of Egah!, Moster a go go, Manos and Ferrignos Hercules. You will be missed.

After the gonzo antics of Part 1, it looks like the only thing Part 2 has going for it is Michael Sheen hamming it up.

I-HAVE-TOREPORT-ACRIME

There's been some crazy rumors (since denied) that Summit was thinking about rebooting this immediately, which I think would be one of the weirdest things to ever happen. More likely I expect we'll see some sort of spin-off series. Summit is going to want to jeep this money train rolling.

Bullshit.

They totally talked about rebooting. What studio executives wouldn't these days?

Looks like a fine comedy. I'll be there at midnight.

The crazy thing is that the movies are as close to the books as you could get. What would they do -- just film the movie again with different actors? There's literally no leeway to be had in the story outside of writing a whole new one.

I love Breaking Dawn 1. It's heinous, and terrible, but it's absolutely the right kind of heinous and terrible. Great junk food cinema.

I enjoy it on that level as well.

On the vampire tip -- hearing good things about ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER -- in that it is batshit insane and takes itself totally serious. Crazy movie fans get pumped!

I hope so! I passed up a screening to see Brave last night. But I was surprised by how much I didn't hate the last trailer. If they go full-throttle on the gore there might be something to enjoy there.

I can't even enjoy Part 1 on that level.  There's too much that is legitimately heinous about it for me to look past the (toned down from the book) insanity.

Visually, this looks perfectly fine...but it's so goddamn sad to see Condon directing.  He deserves better actors and projects...hopefully the money is put to good use.

The biggest tragedy of Part 1 is that they couldn't beef up the eroticism and gore and go hard R. Cronenberg or Steven Shainberg could have really pushed it into something batshit. Any of the 'bergs, really.

Everything about that trailer hit every single note of self-importance that makes me revile these films so strongly.

Kristen Stewart must hate the fact they're asking her at 23 to play "the mom" to a 10 year old child actor.

My sister and I have an endurance test going with this series, so I look forward to catching this on DVD and mocking it mercilessly.

It does seem that turning Bella into a vampire at least might give her some personality now.

Someone do the Lord's Work and proliferate this:

It seems to me that before becoming a vampire, Bella could only be blank. Now, she can only SCOWL FIERCELY.

I think I just watched what killed Andrew Sarris this morning.

I've to say that i never have been able to finish any of the films (I change the channel out of disgust whenever they are on). This looks to be no different.

P.S- Is anyone else facing trouble watching that Yahoo Trailer? Mine just says that its "Not Avaliable In This Country".

Saw the first one (not by choice) and didn't outright hate it, but it didn't win me over. Thankfully she doesn't like the books (finds them boring) and hasn't subjected me to the others that are out on video.

So yeah, no interest in this other than to laugh at how inept it is, and I hope this is the end of Taylor Lautner. Between him and someone who's actually showed range, Channing Tatum. I choose Tatum.

As do my sister and I.

I'm curious to see how far they go with the "imprinting" that Lautner has on that 10 year-old girl.  I hope they turn up the Ick Factor to 11.

Speaking of the imprinting, on this week's  EW cover, it looks like like Edward and Bella are protecting their child from Jacob. Looking forward to the review; no way I will actually go see this.

I cannot wait to see Rifftrax's take, superfluous though it may be.

I've only seen the sample clips of Rifftrax mocking Twilght, but there great! "Line?"

Rifftrax has done the entire series (I think) and with such bounty of easy pickings it's easy to put a smile on your face.  I definitely recommend 'em.
