It's been too long. It'll be good to have the Good Guy back, but too bad it won't be in theaters.

I'm not one for reboots but I'd sure as hell prefer one over a direct-to-dvd sequel where all franchises go to die.

If Uni weren't still gunning for a remake, I suspect this would have been dumped into theaters.

 

Again, this smacks of Universal cutting a deal with Mancini to get him to agree to step down as director of the inevitable remake.

The plot sounds somewhat unremarkable but I guess after Bride and Seed anything more back-to-basics would. Once again this kills my dreams of a Child's Play / Rugrats crossover in which the two Chuckys are easily mistaken for one another.
