Frank Legella's new high-concept comedy has a trailer.

Hollywood continues showing the entire fucking movie in the trailer.  Really, the setup is intriguing enough.

Yeah. But I can't blame the film for it's marketing. This looks like it might be my favourite film of the year.

It looks really good. I'd describe it as science fiction Oceans 11. While I don't condone stealing, I think Frank made the right choice for his first mark.

Looks more to me like a science fiction The King's Speech - two characters meet, have trouble getting along, become friends and learn valuable life lessons from each other. I'm sure it'll be enjoyable for Langella and Sarsgaard alone, but not all that earth shaking.

I was sold the moment I realized this would be a movie about hurting smug yuppies who think that their benefiting from technological progress makes them somehow superior. You bet your ass I am going to be in the theater for this.

While this is true, I'm overjoyed to see a sci-fi movie of this tone and subject.

Seems like something Bradbury or Asimov would have written back in the 50s.  Sign me up.

So... why does there have to be robbery in this movie? Why can't it just be a movie about an old man learning to understand progress and love his robot helper? Must there be some action element simply because it's science fiction?

I'm sorry, are you complaining about a heist film starring an old man and a robot?

Yeah, this looks really cute.  I'm sold.

It teeters on SNL skit levels, but wins me over. I'll blind buy this.
