Either a figurative standalone teaser or a dream sequence (if it shows up in the show at all), I'd say. Or maybe they're teasing a new line of SOA merch? The 'Soarin' Jax' Playset, hitting a toy shop near you soon. I enjoy the show greatly, narrative oddness and all, so here's hoping they keep their eye on the ball.

I'll take it as a hint that the Hamlet stuff will come back to the fore.

 

Though it would indeed be hillarious having them off Jax before the opening credits.
