Big Brother 14 - Mentors

Thread Starter

The rumors seem to be true.  4 past HG will Mentor 12 HG through the game.  They are Believed to be BB6/7 Janelle, BB10 Dan, Big Brother 12 Brittany(replacing Rachel) and Big Brother 2/7 Boogie(puke).

Rumor is that they will mentor 3 each and winn 100 thousand if their player wins.  But some think it's bs and that around week 4/5 the mentors, if still there, will get to play.

Sad because the new group has alot of promise.

That had to be the cruelest eviction ever.  It always sucks to go out the first, but the first day?  Ouch.

Got the feeds-quality sucks but I hear they are working on them.  POV happening today.

Russels bro seems to be playing too hard, too fast.

It seems that Brit and Willie have clued in to the fact that the coaches will wind up playing the game, mainly based on diary room questions and the fact that their pictures on the wall have keyholes on them.  Brit seems to be a bit pissed, not wanting to come on to play again but just to be a coach.  Willie is trying to convince her to have a household meeting and let everyone there know, but she seems too chickenshit.

Brit is the worst mentor ever.

And of course the mentors will play-or given the option to play.  Thats why they need to get Boogie out before he gets the chance to play and people listen to his lies

And  spoiler  veto/eviction talk

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

They don't stop flip flopping over who will be evicted I'll lose my shit.  Frank should go home-no question about it.  I haven't check in for a day or so so I have no clue where thay are at.

And Joe appears to be this years Shelly minus

God I can't stand Boogie, but if he mind fucks Janelle it would at least be hilarious. Brit's spooky google eye helped me remember who she was at least.

Hold on, if Boogie is back in the house then who the hell is collecting on loans for the Dixie mafia?

I have no idea where they stand on who's going home.  They keep flip flopping and double dealing that I wont have a clue until I see diary rooms.

Willie went nuts and got kicked out of the house.

Mentors will def be in the game.

Interesting last few hours.  Bunch of flipping.

I don't remember Brit being this annoying.

And with 4 people out in 3 weeks I think 2 coaches may come in.  Boogie/Janie/Dan will fight it out.  Brit wants no part of game.  I would love all 4 to come in and have 2 or 3 double evictions.

They'll bring all the coaches in Thursday night right before the HOH comp.  They will then compete.  I know it's Americas Vote, but I bet you anything that if the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of keeping them as coaches, CBS would just lie and say that America voted for them to play.  On one hand, I would hate that they become players.  It's pretty lame that because they have been on the show before they get to compete and get four weeks of immunity.  On the other hand, the sooner they become players, hopefully the sooner Mike Boogie is kicked out.

This 1000%  Last year showed Danielle was all Evel Dick.  This year it's showing Boogie had no startegy and was all Will.  You don't go to bet early the nnight before Veto ceremony or a eviction.

The evil Dr. Will was quite honestly my favorite reality contestant ever, and I thought it was quite obvious that any success Boogie had could be attributed directly to his relationship with Will.  It's good to watch that definitively proven.

Both seasons he rode Dr. Will's coattails.  The only reason Mike got further than Will on All Stars was due to the fact that Will didn't even care to be in there.  You could tell he was just half-assing everything, and always seemed ready to get out of the house and get back to his job.  Mike, on the other hand, was way more serious about it.  And despite what he may think, winning All Stars does not make you the best player in BB history.

Fact that Dr. Will got to the F4 of the ALL-STARS season shows how great he was.

I heard Will/Boogie/Janie split the money.  There is a Q/A thing somewhere about it from an inside source basically saying all Boogie wanted was the title and he would take less money to have it.  Also there were reports Janie/Will got off camera time to have fun.  Have to look for the link

Just peeking in on the feeds today  Spoiler

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Boogie is talking about how dumb the cast is.  He has no clue Danielle/Shane flipped on Frank.  He didn't notice after the veto that Janie/Shane/Brit/Ashley/Will were in the HoH room for a while.  It's just insane how much he is missing

I so hope he stays oblivious until the eviction, just to see his stupid face.

ETA:  There is no way the Coaches Challenge does not wind up on The Soup this week.

Apparently there is no pre vote speeches tonight, due to a lot of stuff happening and fitting it all into the show. There is no doubt that they are bringing coaches in.  The coaches seem to already be expecting it tonight.  And everyone is speculating endurance comp.

Agreed. Waste of a week. But if Frank had been evicted' then they let the coaches in, the Mike would have gone very far in he game, playing Wills game from season 2. No fiends or allies, people would have kept him in every week after making a deal with him for his vote. Honesty, I would be happy with him or Janelle out this week.

Can't believe that crap Dan pulled actually worked.

I am amazed that worked.  My hat's off to him.  Everyone is always going on about how Dr. Will was the best player ever in this game, but I don't think his game is nowhere near as good as Dan's.  Will's game was basically being the last man standing in his alliance, and promising whoever was in power in any given week to vote how they wanted if they didn't put him on the block.  He sat back as the majority group splintered and just kept him around as an extra vote.  He made it to the end and had a fantastic speech and won the game.  It was certainly entertaining, and I'm not saying he's not a good player, I'm just saying I have seen better players now over the years, and I think Dan is light years ahead in skill.

I just hope they don't do another All Stars anytime soon.  I swear if Brendan/Rachel/Dick or anyone who has been on more than once show up again, I won't even bother.

After they saved Frank yet again when they brought the coaches in I kinda stopped watching.  Trusting Dan/Boogie over Janalle is fucking dumb.

As long as the ratings stay up they will keep manipulating the winner.

Yeah, definitely manipulated. This week they are doing the second double eviction of the season. If I'm not wrong, they usually only do one per season. I'm sure if it was almost anyone but Frank who was going home the night they brought in the coaches, they would have done an eviction first. But since it was Frank, they made up that reset bullshit just to keep him in. They seriously invalidated a whole weeks worth of gameplay right there. I call bullshit that the reset was in the cards from the get go. Bringing the coaches back, sure, but not having no eviction that week.

Take a hike, pretty boy.

That was incredible.

Seriously.  I'd been keeping up on the show only through EW writeups until Dan made his first giant move.  I've been riveted since, and he shows no signs of slowing down.  I absolutely can not wait to see what his play at the end is.  He has played the best game in no uncertain terms, but it's the kind of best game that leaves a lot of resentment and lost votes.  He's absolutely secured himself a future all-star invite as well.  This is Dr. Will level stuff.

As entertaining as it was I feel like he didn't really work much magic last night. He basically just suggested to Danielle that she take him off the block and she said okay. Then when Danielle suggested it to Shane he said "Oh alright, if you think that's best." He's manipulating dullards.

I'm pretty sure his game is to take Danielle to final two.  Despite that speech he was giving her after the eviction went down, he knows he has a better chance of beating her than he does beating Ian.  I just think it's hilarious that Danielle was probably thinking she was in the sweet spot, like Dan feels, knowing that if final three were her, Dan, and Shane, she could just sit back and let either one of them win, knowing that they would both take her to final two, and she wouldn't have to get blood on her hands kicking out her coach or her...whatever he is.  Only Dan beat her to the punch.

I just hope Dan does make it to final two, and Brit is able to convince everyone (minus that dullard Frank) that Dan played the best game and deserves to win.

And this is beyond Dr. Will level now.  Him and Mike are probably both at home cringing that their reputation of GOAT (well, in Mike's case only in his head), is slipping away from their 10 year stranglehold.

And for fuck's sake would Janelle just go away already?
