I think I can swing that. I'm gonna be driving down from north of Brainerd, but am planning to leave fairly early in the day so i don't get stuck in shitty 494 traffic on my return. Don't know Tavern, but I don't know much of any place, having not lived in the TC since 2001. As long as they have happy hour, I'll be a happy (ie drunk) man. 

 

And a maybe on the movie. I got some other peeps I will likely be hanging with after we split, depending on the time. But I also don't know what we'll be doing. Possibly they might want to catch a flick too.

Josh:  Tavern is just to the west of Southdale on the west side of France Ave.  VERY easy to find.

I can commit to this, by the way. I'll be at the Tavern between 5 and 5:30, probably closer to 5. Grab a table or sit in the bar area?

I will definitely try to make it, but I will be coming from NE Minneapolis and won't be leaving work until after 5. Ideally, I should walk my dog before I head out too.

 

Can I give someone with a smartphone my email to let me know if it's ending and I'm still not there so I don't head out in vain?

 

Been meaning to try Tavern on France. The building it was connected to was the first place I worked when I moved up here, back when Tavern on France was a Pizzeria Uno. Memories...

Well there is you and me. Then Tim, and I know he is bringing at least a couple (or more) CHUD readers who aren't board members that he already knows. Not sure how many though. Maybe we should just meet in bar and move from there?

Gonna be back in the Twin Cities from Dec 17-28. Another CHUD gathering shall occur, with some new blood too -- former CHUD weirdo extraordinaire Sam Strange is living in MN now.

 

If you're not already FB friends with moi, make it happen - http://www.facebook.com/joshua.miller.359 - as it will be much easier to exchange info on the gathering that way. If you weren't in attendance at the previous gathering (ie, we haven't properly met each other), shoot me a FB message to say aloha.

 

Though Tim Kelly or I will still post the time and place here once we've hammered it out in case any lurkers want to swing by and join the orgy.
