Remember seeing it back when it came out and hating it. Maybe I'll revisit it but I'd probably rather re-watch the 1953 version with Vincent Price.

 

Speaking of which when we get pissed about a Halloween reboot or a Friday the 13th reboot ruining the original, I wonder how Martin Scorsese feels about this film considering the '53 version is one of his favorites and included it on his must-see films list.

The museum business was extremely creepy. I will give the movie points for that. It uses it's setting to full effect.

Yeah I always really liked this one including the twin vs twin smackdown.

I loved the paralyzed victim who gets half his face ripped off, and his eyes roll up to show he's totally aware of things. Sweet.

I didn't talk about it in the piece, just because it is a minor spoiler, but I dug that this film features a brother and sister duo.

It's good, but way, WAY too long. Some judicious pruning would've increased its reputation massively.

I agree that the climax kind of makes the movie.  It's almost something that would have felt comfortable in an Indiana Jones film.
