Good stuff. I’m much more interested in this tired, weary look at badass Arnold than I am him holding a giant gun and mugging for The Expendables. There’s room for both in this world, no doubt, but I’m happy the man chose to dive back in with something interesting, and collaborating with Kim Jee-woon (The Good, The Bad, And The Weird) should certainly be interesting.
It’s a good poster. The texture is nice, the composition simple. I will say the oddly shoved in Mustang is a little dumb, but you can’t win ’em all!
I also snagged the stills below (which I don’t assume are new, but I’ve not yet seen) from IGN, who debuted the poster. You can catch your first glimpse of co-star Forrest Whitaker, who fills out the cast along with Johnny Knoxville, Peter Stormare, Jaimie Alexander, Eduardo Noriega, Luis Guzman and Genesis Rodriguez.
The film hits theaters next year on January 18th.
