Halloween DVD's... info please?

Okay, I know that Halloween is one of those movies that has had umpteen releases, much like Army of Darkness or Night of the Living Dead. Could some knowledgeable person give a run-down of the releases and what makes them better or worse than the rest? I know some have the television versions, commentaries, etc.

If I buy the <a href="http://www.creature-corner.com/dvd/aug20halloween25.php3" target="_blank">new DVD release from Anchor Bay</a>, what will I be missing out on that the other discs might have?

Anchor Bay IS releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition next summer. Wait...

Thanks for the info, WGON. I posted this after reading about the 25th anniversary release on Corner. (See my link above.)

So there haven't been any commentaries on DVD, huh? Only on laser disc? That's reason enough for me to wait for the new set.

yea,but supposedly they are re-using the same commentary from the laser dis for the dvd next year...
