Gaming is getting annoying.
Xbox One release date: November 2013
Scorpio Release date: Winter 2017
Ps4 release date: November 2013
Ps4Pro Release date: November 2016.
Four years and three years respectively, is a healthy length of time for a new console iteration. Is it not? I think a big reason for the "updates" is that the Xbox One and PS4, even at the times of their releases, were fucking pieces of shit. Underpowered, too expensive, missing key features, etc.
I am hoping that this trend continues, because if there is one thing that absolutely needs to end it's the lack of backwards compatibility from one console generation to another. If every 3-4 years they do a refresh, but older games are still compatible, that's a good trend in my book.
