Near Dark

I know, I know, Johnny covered a bit of this recently. But after being tortured by the Anchor Bay guy a Fango... He was carrying around three friggin' copies of the 'Near Dark' DVD. Yes, real DVDs, not mockups. He was kind enough to let me touch, nay, lovingly caress one of them while he and I were shopping on the show floor. Let me tell you this is a very sweet lil package, folks!

Check these out...

I was so pissed abput this one... They were giving copies of this unused theatrical poster at the show and mine got all f***ed up on the plane...

Anyway, go here to get the officail skinny from Anchor Bay on this kick ass DVD.

I want one! Damn, there goes more money out of my pocket, but it will surely be worth it. Mark my words: IT WILL BE MINE!

Actually, here are some photos that show the holographic nature of the cover (plus, they are smaller):

The documentary is great, but the commentary is the second worst I have ever heard. Bored me to death.

The packaging rocks, much better than a tin or anything else AB has done in the past.

Hats off to AB for this release on all fronts.

Does anyone else think the young chick in this flick is super hot. I would turn to the dark side for her too. Whatever happened to her?

I have always wanted to strangle that boy with his intestines.

"Drop the lisp! Drop it!"

I have to buy that DVD. I promised Jenette Goldstein I would. That was one of maybe three coherent things I said to her.

Damn, I re-sized Tindalos's pics and re-posted 'em , but I fucked it up. Tin, do you have the URL for that third on there? I can fix it.

So damn pretty.
