Hack To School Week

Here is another movie marathon for you off Sci Fi except it's all this week insted of straight foward. It starts today at 9:00 eastern time with Shriek If I Know What You Did Last Friday The 13th. I don't remeber the other movies but it goes to the end of the week. Nothing to win on this one.

It's mostly "trendy teen" but it has a great visual style, courtesy of director David Nutter. Nutter has worked on X-Files and a number of other shows like Roswell, Millennium, Smallville, and Dark Angel. He seems to be the go-to guy for sci-fi TV pilots.

The story of Disturbing Behavior is so-so, but it has some good tension. And any movie featuring Katie Holmes has got my attention. I read an interview with Nutter a few years ago, saying that he had to compromise quite a bit on the final cut of the flick. The DVD has extra scenes and an alternate ending, but I've never checked it out.

I'm watching Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th and it's pretty damn funnny. I don't why they are showing a comedy on a teen slasher weekly marathon but they are.
