Dredd 3D is putting together solid word of mouth based on screenings held at San Diego Comic Con last month. It hasn’t shaken the stigma that it looks like a gussied-up remake of The Raid, but perhaps that isn’t such a bad thing. Today saw the launch of both a TV spot (below) and this viral website: DreddReport. It’s decent as far as viral sites go, what with its Drudge Report overtones. I’d keep an eye on that “Judges on Active Duty” counter, which seems to be doubling as a countdown clock. Dredd 3D rides into theatres September 21st, one month from today. Enjoy:
