If you’d have told me five years ago that 2013 would bring Fast & Furious and Riddick, and that I would be interested in seeing both, I’d have sworn you were huffing actual diesel gasoline and not just reporting on the rejuvenated career of Vin Diesel.
The above image, posted from Diesel’s Facebook page, has three of our stars engaging in an intense pose-off on the set of Fast & Furious 6* in London. Production will be moving on to Glasgow, Scottland as well; so hopefully director Justin Lin doesn’t miss an opportunity to get our gang in gunfight with bekilted baddies. The above pic could just as easily have come from Fast Five as our three heroes look exactly the same as they did in the previous film. That Dwayne Johnson is still wearing his Security Service fatigues is somewhat telling, as one expects he’ll still be in heavy pursuit of Toretto and O’Conner at film’s start.
The safe bet is on The Rock going rogue and aligning with the fugitive posse, but that’s a matter of debate until Fast & Furious 6 releases May 24, 2013.
