When the trailer for Grand Theft Auto V debuted in Novemeber of last year confirming a Los Santos return, focus then shifted on when we’d finally get to play the damn thing. With some lucky members of the press enjoying facetime with a demo earlier this month it seemed like an announcement was inching ever closer. A few rumors had the game pegged for sometime in 2014, thankfully that won’t be the case.
While an actual release date is still unconfirmed, Rockstar has revealed today the game will be in stores Spring of 2013 with pre-sales happening as early as November 5th, 2012. Here’s the official announcement poster with the original trailer below:
