Dammit, somebody better offer to copy this fucker for me. Come on! I'll happily splurge the costs to cover the blank tape, plus postage.

Afterall, you do know that you're required to mamke a copy for someone else in order to remain among the living, right?

Pretty please? I don't want to have to go all Sadako on somebody.

didn't somone post the curse tape online a while ago? quality was pretty decent too. must say that it didn't disturb me half as much as the Japanese version, but that had something to do with the fact that the US version had some obvious CGI in it, while the Japanese version just look weird as hell...

I'm just wondering. Are there ANY plans to release the Japanese version of "The Ring" on DVD in the US? Legally, I mean. How about "Battle Royale" or "Evil Dead Trap"? You'd think some company would get the bright idea to release these here.

Battle Royale is out for Region All in Britain. The Ring will probably be out eventually, but I bet they're holding it back till around the time of the U.S. version's release on video.

As I'm still deep in a job search, I have no money, Johnny... but I'll trade you a DVD of "Chinese Super Ninja" (cheesy cool Shaw Bros kung-fu flick) for one. Or perhaps I have some other cheapie, yet fun, disc around for trade...

I saw it on Grokster once, but it took way too long to download. I think like one person had it. I wanna see thsi movei bad. If anyone feels like making a copy for a new guy it would be much appreciated.

I picked one up at Horrorfind weekend, it's really awesome, but almost the same thing that was posted on cc boards awhile ago. I was able to get my name in when Rotten ran his contest so I have a second copy coming. I guess I could make some dubs for a couple people if you'd like.

Spoiler....

The part where the lady was combing her hair in the mirror and stop to look at me was pretty creepy then so was sadakos appearence if that is her name.

I have never seen the orignal Ring movie, so this is actually my first glimpse of Ring from the American remake which actually looks great. I did however manage to get a copy of Ring2, but haven't watched it yet for I fear it might ruin the first movie.
