Hastur's in Ireland for 2 more weeks (been there a week, already).
She's gone native.
She just called me at work, from a pub. She has the accent (more a lilt than a brogue at this point), and doesn't even realize it, although she has noted that people have stopped asking how her holiday is going.
She's decided we're moving there, so I may have some difficulty making it to Dragoncon next year....

That would be me, I'm afraid. Hastur calls me a leprechaun, and I did sorta die....

Getting her back from Ireland is going to be fun. She's going through Boston on the way back, transfering to Bangor. It's 9 days from now, so theoretically the airline schedules should be caught up, but they'll be searching every bag...which is going to piss her off. If she mouths off to a tense customs official....

Meanwhile, I haven't heard a peep from her sin Mon afternoon. No email or phone. I know she's ok...she's used the Visa card...I'm not worried about her. Would just like to HEAR from her. It'[s weird. I'd blame it on the transatlantic pipe going through NYC, but we have folks from the UK on the boards, now.
Maybe tomorrow.

I don't know, anytime I go near a Leprachaun I keep getting this feeling I'm in a really BAD cheesy horror film sequel.

I'm off to see Battle Royale in the IFC now.

How long will she be in Boston for, Coyote? Perhaps the creeture and I could go keep her amused if she has a long layover.

It's supposed to be like 3 hrs, but maybe you ought to email me your phone number (finn@writers.net) in case her father's opinions get them detained for awhile

Talked to her yesterday afternoon, btw. She's fine.

Cross yer fingers.
Hastur's original flight from Maine to Houston was cancled, so they scheduled her for 5 hrs earlier. On the 22.
Ireland-&gt;Boston-&gt;Maine on the 21st still a go.

Elvis has left the building.
Despite the flight from Ireland being late and some possible waits at customs, Hastur is theoretically in the air from Boston to Bangor at present.
Personally, I'm impressed Bangor even has an airport, let alone two flights from Boston to Main 50 mins apart.

I'm glad she made it back okay, big guy. I'm not glad, however, that she's such a fan of 'Puppet Master'...

Actually PM3 was good. The first 2 blow, but the third one had plot (the first one lacked), acting (the first one lacked), character development and explanations (the first 2 lacked), and decent effects.
The reason I mentioned it in the first place was that you &/or GC found them on Ebay, out of print, for me

I'm glad you got it in time Coyote, so does Hastur have a lovely tint of green to her skin now?
