Don't miss this recent Home Sick set report if you're looking forward to the movie. Good stuff.

Nice title dOOd, sounds familiar as all hell.
Is that an insult? Sorry, my sarcasm detector is at low right now.

Naw man, I just have a graphic novel nearing completion (yes a REAL one not some wannabe project) with the title HOMESICK about a trucker and...other stuff.

Not an insult, more like a "Goddammit, I don't wanna change my title" type of comment. The movie looks good btw...

Plus you use 2 words like someone is staying home because they are sick. Ours is soimeoene who is homesick, who misses being home.

Yes, I remember you bringing up HOMESICK the graphic novel a few threads back. I should have put two and two together. Sorry about the misunderstanding, and good luck on the project.

I'll watch it for 2 reasons

1. it looks nice and bloody
2. Tiffany Shepis is in it....and I'll watch just about anything with her in it. I mean damn she did a flick for playboy and I just ordered it (still confused by the fact that she did it but oh well)

Hey man, I understand. I was way pissed when I found out about the New Line movie Solace. And it didn't even sound like a good movie. Some crazy girl told me that if I called them they would give me big bucks for the domain name www.solacethemovie.com. No dice. The respectfully heard my piece, and then promptly purchased the rights to www.solacemovie.com. And I was so sure that half a mill was mine. Arrgg. Yes, Tiffany is VERY fun in the movie. She gets alot of the best scenes in the film. (watch as tiffany does drugs, trashes her work place, engages in light necrophelia with incestual undertones, and gets tortured. good stuff)

That man has no face!

I couldn't tear my eyes away. Every time I tried to read the story, the faceless guy demanded my attention.

Be-U-ti-ful.
That was pretty damn impressive. I'll be checking this film out when it is in town or available on DVD.
Come to poppa. Hot girls and faceless people = totally there.

The website has lotsa great pics. Johnny had a link to the trailer on CC, but it's like 22 MB. Is there a smaller one for us in dial-up land? Like under 6 MB? How about a Quicktime?

The set visit thread from DJEvil was quite amusing. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

There's more breathtaking gore in that Homesick trailer than I've seen in every theatrical horror movie this year combined.

Hope this picture scores big time. Couldn't happen to a nicer, more knowledgeable - if slow walking - guy than Evan.
He's not slow, his legs were just shorter than ours. Besides, Evan doesn't need to walk fast...the cool just comes to him.
That matters in any town where bars have closing hours...But you're right, he does breeze along on a strikingly fresh waft of coolness. Davis is the tall, spikey version of Ian Malcolm, Evan is the punk angst version.

Anywhichway - count me as being in immense anticipation.

I know the guy who did the make up effects for the film and it does look quite gory. I really don't get into that sort of thing, though.
