Heyya guys!
Thanks for the great interview with the dudes behind Halloween Returns to Haddonfield. Seriously, these guys are putting together one of the most hardcore conventions out there with this one! Imagine all those people gathered in ONE PLACE all goin' Halloween CRAZY!?! It's gonna be like the fuckin' Star Wars Celebration -- except for Halloween! People are gonna be shittin' their Michael Myers undies.
Can't wait.

Who's planning on going to this? Cos I'm giving it serious consideration.

It sounds like a hell of a time. Too far away though.

OH OK. Nevermind then...its in Pasadena.

I was hoping it would be somewhere in central Illinois----where Haddonfield was supposed to be. On the map in the train station in H6 Haddonfield isnt too far southwest from Joliet which is where I live.

Not to sound selfish, but they should have this convention in Illinois, just for realism.

Yeah too far for me, but sounds awesome. I'd love to see that guy's collection of Halloween stuff.
And Phantom I'm with you...as I started reading my heart leapt in my chest thinking it would be right here in Illinois.

Alas. Sounds cool though.

It does sound cool, but I'm out as well. I'm sitting on my cash these days, so all fun stuff is out. I think that they should have it in Pasedena, because that is where it was filmed. I think that the bus tour of the locations is a great idea.

I don't think any Halloween movie has actually been filmed in the REAL Haddonfield Illinois. Holding a convention there wouldn't have anything other than novelty/name value.
It would be pretty damn hard to hold the convention in Haddonfield, Illinois because there is no Haddonfield, Illinois.
I was sure I saw a Halloween doc where they talked about a "real" Haddonfield somewhere. Maybe I imagined it.

The important thing is it ain't happening in Illinois.

Being an Illinois native (the "s" is silent, you bastards), I can attest that, indeed, there is no Haddonfield.

What is more important is that our man Inspector will be..inspecting it for the lot of you that can't make it, or are just too damn cheap to go (like me!).

There is no such place as Haddonfield.

Carp filmed the original in a little town somewhere in Nothern California.

Yes, Pasadena is almost in Oregon.

Christ, JC hasn't aged well ...By the looks of a now / then photo comparison, HALLOWEEN should be celebrating its 50th anniversary ...

Sorry John

.. and how damn many versions of HALLOWEEN is Anchor Bay gonna release ???

.. Anyways, horror fans rule, and this seems cool ...

How true. However, this new one is worth it simply for the AMC Backstory on Halloween which was really really cool. And I hear it's even a longer version of it on the DVD.
