Why Pinhead will never die

It seems to me that the only way a horror icons can die in a movie is the be killed by family. Look at NOES F13th Halloween

The Lead Cenobite is going to be killed by Harry D'Amour in Clive Barker's next short story collection. Barker said he will be quite dead at the end of the story and that is the last he will have to do with anything dealing with Cenobites. Barker also said at the signing last October that he hopes to get the short story collection published in one of the off years between Abarats.

Sorry if I spoiled it Billylove but Barker said that a couple of years ago and at several signings.

If all those damn PINS sticking deep in his HEAD don't kill him, what the hell WILL???

Really, I'm hoping for Pumpkinhead to off him in the upcoming dual-franchise spinoff Pinhead vs. Pumpkinhead.
