MTV Best Villian Award

The MTV Movie Awards were on last night. I don't know if anybody caught them, but Daveigh Chase won Best Villian for her role as Samara in "The Ring".

She beat out Mike Myers(Goldmember), Willem Dafoe(Spider-Man), Colin Farrell(DareDevil) and Daniel Day-Lewis(Gangs of New York) which is pretty damn good. I know i voted for her.

I loved The Ring remake, I really did. In fact, I loved it a lot more than Gangs. But to say that Daveigh Chase acted a better villian than Daniel-Day Lewis... that's just fucking idiotic.

MTV's demographic is early and mid teens...most of whom don't give a shit about Gangs of New York. Besides I thought it was kinda cool seeing such a young girl winning an award like that.

What's kind of fun with the MTV awards is seeing people that have no chance of ever winning another award in their life win. Like when Keanu won Best Actor for The Matrix.

All good points, stuff I should have figured out on my own. It's true that the MTV awards are fun in the random way they do their thing. So in that context, this award makes perfect sense and my inner beast has been calmed.

I thought it was funny how Ashton Kutcher and P. Diddy came up and told her it was okay as she nervously got up the gumption to say "You will all suffer."

Easy chilluns. Amanda Bynes is 17, and Hillary Duff is just 15. Be patient... if they're such cute girls now, think how fine they'll be when you don't have to feel unclean about picturing them naked.

My 5 year old son happened to be up late and saw this on MTV. Today he walked up to me and, in his best growly voice, said:

"You All Will Suffer"

My 4-year-old names her stuffed animals after Morrowind creatures. That's about the coolest thing that goes on here.
