I didn't see this in theatres and haven't heard a whole lot of good things is this worth a purchase or is it that bad?

How'd I miss that? Great review, guess I'll pass I don't need to watch another horrible movie so soon after Darkness Falls.

Wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen...

-that would be "Things" featuring Ginger Lynn-

-but it wasn't all that great. Suprisingly decent effects and a few solid jolty scares (judging by my girlfriend's harming of me), but nothing fantastic.

Then again, I saw it for free. Though, I saw Darkness Falls for free, as well - and yet I paid the price.

I'll see you in hell, John Fucking Fasano...

It is worth a rental (but I would watch most anything as a rental). I had high hopes for the film when it came out and I felt that it was a big disappointment.

Having had night terrors as a child, I know how scary (hence the name) these things are. I thought there was so much potential to create a completely terrifying movie. How disappointing. It seems as though no one involved with the movie bothered to really figure out what night terrors are. To them it was just kinda like sleep walking and having a bad dream.

Even as a run-of-the-mill scary movie this thing failed. Rather than "scare" you, the movie kinda surprises you here and there with some quick movements. This movie sucked. And that's coming from a guy who liked Darkness Falls AND feardotcomdotfearcom.
