I completed your filthy list!

Michael M, I think you may have ranked them instead of scoring them. If that's the case and you want to amend it, just submit again and I will delete your first score.

Incidentally, Google Forms has a "Rank from 1 to 10" feature that could also make our traditional lists more effective.

I correctly completed your filthy scoring card!

Thanks! Iron Man 2 is my litmus test. When people score it a 10 I know they either ranked or are burdened with the worst kind of taste.

I am CHUD-blocked at work but I will check in afterwards. Thanks all for filling it out.

Done.

Done. Thanks MIkel!

Also done.

ETA: I am extremely stupid, so I might have done this completely backwards.

oh yeah. I did that yesterday. So yeah.

Yes, grub, wd40, and new guy all did it backwards, rankings instead of ratings. Or Thor is much more popular than originally expected.

Am I being punked?

If you want to you can resubmit and I will delete your first entry.

Looking at the results you posted, I don't think some people understood that 1 was low and 10 was high.

Contributed, you monkey. Now, how doth one vieweth the results.

So, 1 is bad and 10 is good?  Can someone explain this to an idiot then?  Do that many people really think Iron Man 2 and Incredible Hulk are that good? Because I originally gave Guardians a 1 (my current favorite) and Thor a 10 (my least favorite), yet somehow I did this backwards.

Give each film a score out of 10 with 10 being the highest and 1 the lowest.

Did the deed!

Did it wrong, smug, unless you hate guardians all of the sudden. I will revise the intro text.

I did it AGAIN.

I have no one to blame but myself. Did it wrong again smug. If you really live guardians, that should be in the 7-10 range probably. If your least favorite is cap, but you still think it's ok, you can give it a 4. No need to hit each number.

Done.

Okay...I think I got it - I'll do it again....So GotG would be tops, that means a ten. Correct?

If you think it's a 10 movie, sure. Could be yor fav and still just be a 6 or 8

That makes sense. The text underneath explains why I wanted to do things instead of rankings but it clearly confused the issue.

Well, dammit, I hope this is the LAST time.  Sorry I made this so difficult.  I guess I should thoroughly read the directions.

I give some of you a one out of ten for completing this task. (That's bad by the way).

Whurr mah averages at?!

We want colorful charts!

And donuts!

But fuck off with that Krispy Kreme nonsense.

I don't know why exactly we're doing this.  But I did the shit out of it.

According to that chart top spot is between GotG and Capt America: TWS.  ETA: and Iron Man (2008).  We got a three-way going on!

Avengers is in the second column and is currently in the lead.

Smug and wd40 you got the direction right but you're still ranking. I can use those numbers or you can redo, whichever floats your boat.

Colorful charts will come afte I reach 25.

Schwartz, we're doing this because I like making charts of numbers and you all are my source of numbers.

Yeah, gonna drop out of this then.  Clearly I don't get it.

I did it wrong too. Sorry man - It's counter intuitive. Your directions were clear, but I looked at the results and saw that most people had to use 1 as their top. Delete mine and I'll run it again.

It's very simple:

- Stop thinking of it in terms of "ranking" them 1-10, and more like you're giving them a "grade".

- 10 is the best score you can give it.

- 1 is the worst score you can give it.

- More than one entry can have the same grade.

Example: I rated IRON MAN 2 the lowest because it's a pile of shit, but not without some redeeming qualities. I could've given it a "1", the lowest score, but I gave it a "3" instead because it's not all bad. Likewise, I rated a few of them as "8"'s but none of them "10"'s because none of these are deserving of a perfect score, as far as I'm concerned. ¿Comprende?

Roger that.

I hope I get an A.

I changed my mind. Mikel? Make THE AVENGERS a 7. I was being too kind.

Fuckin' aye.  Okay.

Mikel, erase what I have there now.  Doing the damn thing again.  And this time - after my third cup of coffee - it'll be right.  I will add that of all the movies, Iron Man is still near...close...so very very close..to perfect.  And I consider Galaxy Quest to as perfect a movie as you can get.  Get where I'm coming from?

ETA: There.  Ranked.  Nine was my top spot because as Shaun mentions, not one of these is a perfect ten.  Maybe one is at a 9.8 and another a 9.5.

It's not very simple, but thank you.  This finally helped.

If I still did it wrong, then fuck it for good.  Assuming I did it correctly this time, I was surprised to see what an easy date I can be, and how I have a great inability to be truly objective when it comes to a Marvel movie.  I am ashamed.

Mike, I hit submit.  I hope my "scores" (ie, my flawlessly objective assessment of each individual film, preeminent among the plebs on this board, and unassailable in its veracity) found their way through Ted Stevens tubes to you.

After that, it is magic for me.

If you get it wrong again, just vote for THE DARK KNIGHT 10 times with a score of "10" for each.

My rankings always seem to change for this series, mainly because I really don't love or hate it so the films all kinda blur together.

Done.  Also, hello.

Done.

Just ran it again. Properly this time.

Come on, people! Three more entries and it's colorful charts and donuts for everybody!

Thanks for having the patience of a saint Mike.

I did this because I wanted to feel like part of a gang.

Only child syndrome I guess?
And thanks for doing this Mike. Lots of fun.
