It's not really horror but without a doubt it has to be the back of GdT's directors chair that he gave me one set. I still have to get it signed though. That things is sooo cool.

Back it down, Mr. Stiffie.

I added to this thread because my "Night Vision" series is continuing comment was based off of an earlier post in THIS thread, not the new one.

A plaster bust of The Creature From The Black Lagoon that was cast from one of the masks used in the actual film.

The first Night Visions book was one of those things that got me instantly hooked on horror. Great writing and artwork, dark, subtle, eerie, scary, witty, nightmarish--it made an instant impression on me when I first discovered it in the adult stacks of my local public library; one of my first "grown-up" horror reads. For some people it's comics, for others specific movies; for me, my interest in the genre pretty much began with this book.

I've still got my copy of it, another most-prized "horror" possession for me, no question.

Before the days of DVD, before the VHS Universal Monsters collection, I compiled a three tape collection of all the Universal Monster films in chronological order.
From "Dracula" to "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein" (I've always considered the Creature series removed from the rest. That's just me.). Half of these were dupes, the other half had to be recorded off of AMC (commercial free then) whenever they happened to air since they weren't available on video. Now any schmuck can go out and buy a VHS copy of "Dracula's Daughter" or "House of Frankenstein". But I won't. I worked too long and hard scanning the T.V. Guide every week to build my little treasure.

My prized possession among ALL prized possessions is the life-sized demon head sculpt from "Don't Worry, It's Only Your Imagination" that Bill Johnson made that Nick sent me. It is the coolest thing I will ever own.

Others:

A copy of the March, 1940 "Weird Tales" featuring "The Tombstone," one of the first published short stories of Ray Bradbury - that I got Bradbury to autograph.

KNB-made maggots, a rubber arrow, one of the Bob Kurtzman-made masks and the Valentine candy box from "Valentine" (sigh)

A page from the Arcanum and one of the sculpted lever knobs from "Thirteen Ghosts"

A March, 1952 issue of "Authentic Science Fiction," a British magazine in the vein of "Asimov's" that featured the first "Forrest J Ackerman Writes from America..." column that Forry wrote about what was happening in Hollywood sci-fi (including the quote, "As I predicted a while back, George Orwell's 1984 has been bought for filming" - which became the 1956 film starring Michael Redgrave and Donald Pleasance. He also mentions that "War of the Worlds" will finally get made that year). I got him to autograph that last year.

A copy of "The Evil Dead Companion" that I'm slowly, but surely getting everyone associated with the trilogy to autograph.

A poster from when I directed Clive Barker's "The History of the Devil" at UT autographed by Barker.

And then books, posters and photos autographed by the likes of Barker, Richard Matheson, Tom Savini, Bruce Campbell, Kane Hodder, Robert Englund, Ray Bradbury, Forry Ackerman and a bunch of other stuff. I've also got a set of original press stills from the William Castle "13 Ghosts" and lobby cards for everything from "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" to "American Werewolf in London."

A signed pic of Savini in "From Dusk to Dawn" Vampire make-up. That one's special because my nephew came back from a convention and surprised me with it.
