Slumber Party Massacre

Okay, I've found Slumber Party Massacre 1,2,and 3 at Media Play for $8 each. I haven't seen any of them and I was wondering if they are any good. For $8 each I'm not expecting much, but I would like to know what you good people think of these movies.

I can't really remember if i liked it or not, but i did see part 2. This is the one about the ghost of that 50s rocker with a Drill-guitar.

There were so many mistakes in that movie, for example: he throws a wine bottle behind him, (while he was singing and chasing that chick at the same time) and you hear it smash but see it plop safely into the thick carpet.
Can't forget the painfully obvious shadow of the camera on the wall near the end.

Also, there was not nearly enough nudity for a movie with that title.

1 and 3 are good. 2 is one of the worst movies i have ever seen.

The guy with the drill guitar is tons of fun. But yeah, these movies needed a boatload more nudity.

Dude, the first one needs MORE NUDITY?!? Do you even REMEMBER the shower scene? It's one of the most gratuitously beautiful scenes ever (better so because of the female director!).
But yeah, they're all hot-t! 1 & 3 are in the same vein & the second one is in a class all it's OWN!!!! After you check these out, head on over to the Sorority House Massacres!

the shower scene in part 1 is soo funny. I mean the girls are talking but the camera is showing one of their asses.

i love the Slumber Party Massacre movies. The first one is great and i have it on DVD, i too just found them all for 8 bucks at a local Borders so i'll probably pick 2 and 3 up. ...

i too hated 2 and considered it to be the worst horror film of all time (now i'll save that for The Last Slumber Party which isnt related to the Slumber Party Massacre films at all)....but after a 2nd viewing a while back i was able to have fun with it as pure nonsensical cheese.

i say go for it. And of course..that shower scene...Brinke Stevens...yummmm

I forget which one, but IIRC one of the Slumber Party movies was acutally directed by a feminist. She still showed all this gratuitous T&A though... Think she was trying to be ironic or some shit.

All three films were written and directed by women. The first film was written by Rita Mae brown, a feminist writer.
