Tomorrow night! It all begins again!

If the Canucks make it to the playoffs I will be happy and if they make it past the 1st round I will personally lead the parade. :D

I hope the Canucks make the playoffs so the Blackhawks can sweep them out of them.

Every time the Blackhawks lose it makes me happy. Hopefully half the roster goes down to injury before the playoffs and they get run over by the Wild or the Coyotes. Oh that would be so glorious.

Have you been a Blackhawks fan before or after 2010?

Ass holes wish for opposing players to get injured.
I guess I'll give the Canucks another chance. I lost so much interest in that team since they flamed out during the Stanley Cup finals.

I'm still excited about hockey being back.

If it's Duncan Keith I'll send him a get well bag of shit. Happy now?

Oh I feel the pain from that 2011 run all too well. It's not as bad it was but it still stings.

The Canucks will do better than last year. There's nowhere to go but up.

Since Altitude couldn't get their shit together to at least audio stream preseason games I have missed out on the Avs march to the beginning of the season but apparently we have been stinking up the joint.  Hopefully the switch will flip tonight.

Shit.  Now to choose between resurgent gaming interests and hockey.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Holy shit, we're gonna be terrible this year.
But at least you'll be terrible in Phoenix and not Seattle.

Good god... 6-1 against Winnipeg?

Next week against the Kings is going to be a bloodbath.

I'm sorry, 6-2. We apparently scored at the very end. Hooray.

So I'm guessing that picture will be pretty much the same throughout the season. Damn.

I'm still hoping we can turn it around. When we went to the conference finals, our first game was a blow-out.

But, nah... we pissed the off season away, and didn't do much at all to try and improve. The team honestly needs to clean house like the Cardinals and Diamondbacks recently did.

Hey Gary,

When the home opener is less than 8,000 it's time to move the Panthers.  May I suggest the arena in Quebec that was the former home of the Nordiques?

Quebec City already built a larger arena to replace the Colisee as an enticement...

I'd love to have my Habs renew their rivalry with the Nordiques.

Also, I don't care what they posted as an official tally, there isn't 8,000 people in that arena!

We beat the Kings.

My team is baffling. And Mike Smith needs to be permanently replaced.

Carolina Hurricanes are 0-2 and play an even shittier Buffalo Sabres on national TV tonight. Three of our star players Eric Staal Jordan Staal and Jeff Skinner are injured and won't be playing. We probably still won't win either.

Looks like it will be AHL night in the NHL.

Last game saw the Coyotes allowing a goal within the first four shots, and our coach was caught on camera letting out a nice, dejected "fuck ME"... and yet, we still won.

Tonight, we lost to St. Louis 6-1. I know the Blues are pretty stacked with talent, but come the fuck on. Looks like we'll be rotating goalies, just like last season. I hate having talent at the ready, just to punish Mike Smith for having a bad night (which is all too frequent).

Great short handed overtime game winning goal by The Captain in the Hawks game yesterday.  Check it out.

Nashville Predators are afraid of Blackhawks fans.  Shame they are so bush league because they have a very good team.  Not much of a fan base but I doubt many in Nashville played hockey growing up.

The Predators went to great lengths to shun Blackhawks fans, as the franchise had another campaign to keep Chicago’s red shirts out of the arena. Thursday’s game was included in all season-ticket packages that were sold, season-ticket holders could buy extra tickets before the general public and an exchange was set up in which any Blackhawks red shirt could be turned in for a Predators shirt, according to Yahoo Sports.

Plus, free popcorn was reportedly offered to those in gold.

The promotions “didn’t work,” said Jay Zawaski, the Spiegel and Mannelly executiveicon1.png producer who was in attendance last night. Zawaski estimated at least 40 percent and perhaps more of the fans were Blackhawks supporters.

Update to my lowly Hurricanes!  We are #1 at being the only team that hasn't won a game! Way to strive for being the worst.

Fett must be loving  the Blackhawks run.

And why is Billy Idol on my TV instead of hockey?

Coyotes just sold the majority share to someone who is rumored to want to move the team to Vegas. And we just lost the first game under new ownership, 0-6.

Happy New Year!

If Vegas gets a NHL team before Seattle, I'm going to be pissed.

Guess who was voted into the All Star game?  They do it a bit odd as they  do a top 6-G, 2 Def, 3 Forwards.  It's 5 Blackhawks and 1 Sabre.  Kane, Toews, Keith, Seabrook, and Crawford. Chicago representing big!

Seattle deserves a hockey team. Those folks up there would be great hockey fans.
They are practically in Canada so why not.

Dustin Byfuglien should be suspended for at least the first round of the playoffs.

Been a bummer without Kane but I am confident the Hawks are good enough to win a series or 2 without him.  They picked up their defense without him and he'll be the huge boost the need when he's healthy.

So nice seeing the Kings in 9th.  hope they stay there.

The end of the Hawks/Sabres game was bonkers.  Toews scores 2 goals in less than a minute, in the last 2 minutes, of the game.  Now 2 with the Blues for probable home ice and possibly first place in the division.  1 point away from Nashville.

Oh hello playoffs, did you miss us?

Can't wait!

GO CANUCKS GO!

Arizona has tanked this season, and we're still going to end up a couple of points above Buffalo. At least we'll get Eichel.

At least the Kings are out this year. Still not a fan of the new format. Three best teams are in the Hawks division and they have to eliminAte each other.
What an amazing run by the Senators. All these Canadian teams make the playoffs, yet San Jose and New Jersey are on the outside looking in. This may be the most excited I've been for playoff hockey since Vacouver went to the finals.

The league with the most exciting playoffs returns.  I wish it was 1v8/4v5 match ups.  This way the Hawks could dispatch the Canucks in the 1st.

1st Round Predictions

East

Montreal vs Ottawa - Canadians in 7.

Tampa Bay vs Detroit - Red Wings in 7.  They just always find a way.

NYR vs Pitt - Rangers in 5.  Pens in freefall.

Washington vs NYI - Islanders in 6.  Caps choke again.

West

Anaheim vs Winnipeg - Jets in 7.  Jets are built for playoffs.

Vancouver vs Calgary - Flames in 7.  Fuck the Canucks

St. Louis vs Minnesota - Wild in 7.  Wild have been building for a break through series.

Chicago vs Nashville - Hawks in 7.  Hawks have their number.

Rangers will win the cup, and Yandle will come back to Arizona.

Be quiet and let me hold on to my delusion for as long as I can.

To visit?  Aren't the Coyotes moving to Vegas or the NW?

Do you really want to make me cry?

Well, it looks like the Sens have figured out Price's only weakness....Andre frickin' Markov!

Christ the Hawks are nuts.  Trail 3-0 after 1, pull Crawford, tie the game at 3 @ 14 minutes in.

I expect Kaner to finish this thing up in the next five minutes...

At least my timing was right

Hey look, another playoff game where the Sedin's disappeared!

Funny how Keith didn't get nicked for a penalty shot and he scores the game winner. Extremely lucky break for the Shithawks.

Vancouver will rebound in Game #2.

Looks like the Canucks went up in...Flames in game 1.

And as for your Blackhawks shit talk. I just...
Shithawks? Lol. If the Blackhawks are shit, what does that make the Canucks? Try not to burn down the city when they choke again.

Glad to see the Rangers take the Penguins to task.

The Blues need to wake the fuck up. They deserve to lose tonight.
