I’ve never seen either of the Despicable Me films, but they have a decent reputation and a horde of pill-shaped yellow freaks that have captured the hearts of millions. Minions is the film that will capitalize almost exclusively on the cuteness of these little weirdos, and now we know what that film will look like.
From the looks of it, this might be pretty funny. I know this won’t be able to penetrate the icy hearts of some, but that vampire’s birthday gag and the banana hallucination managed to draw real, genuine laughter out of this curmudgeon.
Minions will feature the talents of Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, and Steve Coogan. You can expect this to drop in the US on July 10, 2015.
