I Pitch Tents for Blue Underground

Blind bought Dead & Buried the other day. I had never seen it, but I remember seeing the poster for it in the Video store when I was a wee lad, plunking down $80 for Tron on VHS.....bastards

Anyh00....What a lovely film. But the real reason for this post is for the excellent work Blue Underground did with the disk. I don't know why, but I feel that each copy should be numbered like a work of art. It shall bookend my Blue Sunshine quite nicely

It was just too bad that my wallet was a bit too light for The Toolbox Murders

Yeah man, Lustig is kicking ASS with Blue Underground. he seems like a helluva nice guy to boot.
I'm loving their releases.

Lustig needs to start making movies again.

I've raved about Blue Underground before, and I'll probably do it until the day I die.

They put so much care into their discs, so much more than Anchor Bay (is it any wonder that Anchor Bay discs dropped a wee bit in quality once Bill Lustig left?), that they are a pleasure to watch.

I like the way they are putting out some obscure movies, but give them all special treatment.

Q The Winged Serpent is a big improvement over Anchor Bay's transfer, and the rest of the Larry Cohen collection is top of the pops.

Venom and Snuff were done very nicely also, especially since the source prints were in very bad shape.

Blue Underground has been hand in hand in quality in my opinion.

A great company, that I will always support!

BU's The Toolbox Murders disc is quite excellent. The picture quality is unbelievably great for such a low budget sleaze-fest. It's rounded out with some pretty nifty supplemental material.

Blue Underground is one of the top independent DVD companies going. Every release they put out is of such a high quality it boggles the mind. The fact that they have painstakingly restored films like The Bloody Judge is enough to make them aces in my book. I look forward to every disc they put out.
