Worst horror films ever? - Page 4

You honestly don't know 'worst ever' until you've seen the German flick 'VIOLENT SHIT':

I honestly can't remember if it was the original, or one of the two sequels (apparently) I saw. It was early nineties, on vhs, and I still haven't seen anything that surpassed it in sheer awfulness, and believe me- I've tried.
Here's actually a somewhat watchable fragment:

Before I rest my case: be sure to get your hands on an English dubbed copy. Story goes it's ONE guy who does ALL the voice overs, including the female parts.
And I have to agree: a lot of suggestions in the thread are by no means good movies, but to sink to the level where it's called 'worst horror', you need that special combination of lesser-than-no-budget, heaps of anti-talent (which is actually a value in the negative), a complete lack of understanding both the words 'production' and 'value', and preferably a borderline psycho sick mind.

Thread incomplete without Bruno Mattei's incomparable RATS: NIGHT OF TERROR.

I mentioned his Hell of the Living Dead earlier in the thread, which is just as bad if not worse than Rats.

I haven't seen any of the Violent Shit flicks, and they do look horrible. However, I've seen Nikos the Impaler at a college screening in Fl. with the fx artist present. It wasn't that bad of a flick, kinda fun wish I'd been drunk though.

Also, check out the horrible, yet fun "Premutos: Lord of the Living Dead" it's got so many on screen deaths that a counter runs during the course of the film counting each one.

Wanted to add Asylum's ALIEN ABDUCTION. OMG is it a POS.

And the atrocious SASQUATCH HUNTERS... Seriously, CGI Squatch? WTF.

Do not want.

I hated it, catching it on vhs back in the day... but loved it in a TROLL 2 kinda way when I revisited on DVD. Go figure.

An Asylum movie is a piece of shit, how is that possible?

I mean they're the studio that put ICP in their Death Race rip-off Death Racers, prepare for an eye raping.... and ear raping.

The worst horror movie of all time...? EXORCISM, a no-budget audio/visual Chick Tract that plays like THE EXORCIST made by the producers of 7TH HEAVEN.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0340103/

Great when stoned.

Does the singer from Autograph do the music?*

*He did the theme to 7th Heaven, I have no answer to why I know that.

No, nobody as cool as the singer from Autograph. However, the director, William Baker, does the shittiest rap song I've ever heard during the credits, stooping low enough to rip off the "Turtle Power" theme from the original TMNT movie. "E-X-O-R-C-I-ISM!"

Best part about the film? It's made from an Evangelical slant, so all the Catholic priests get their asses handed to them, and it takes Apollo Creed's midget manager to come storming in waving a Bible and screaming in Satan's face. This, along with an appearance by a Black Angel, send the devil back to Hell -- which is literally a corner room in a basement with some poorly-hung red curtains.

skinned deep. it was a crappy direct to video independent starring warwick davis as "plates", a bizarre oddjob knock-off who threw dinner plates at his victims to decapitate them. i know, it sounds like the greatest movie ever but it totally blew. i got it as a free rental and still felt like i had to demand my money back

I have the double feature Anchor Bay DVD with both of those movies on it. I think I paid a buck for it on eBay.

Asylum knocked Roger Corman way out of the running in the "most shameless and cheap rip-off" department. If only their movies were anywhere near as entertaining. Though I must confess I'm almost tempted to rent One Million B.C., the one that has a cover featuring helicopters chasing after T-Rex's crashing through buildings. I've held off so far.

"The Gingerdead Man" took a fat shit on my chest when I picked it up as a blind buy last spring. Somehow they managed to make a movie about a homicidal Gary Busey reincarnated as a gingerbread man into one big pile of "fuck you." It's draggy at 70 minutes. I've had more enjoyable punches to the throat.

Right on. I long for the "New Concorde" days at this point.

Full Moon has lost whatever credibilty they had. I don't even want to give DANGEROUS WORRY DOLLS (which probably belongs in this thread) a chance.
