Schefter says there is 0% truth to that.

Dolla dolla bills y'all.

Jaguars sign part-time starting tackle from Dallas, Jeremy Parnell, to a five-year deal. Also 45-mil deal with TE Julius Thomas is almost done. Next up - targeting Demarco Murray.

49 more players, and you'll have a team going!

I'd take 10 million less not to play for the Jags.  There goes a stud fantasy TE :(

Don't underestimate the appeal of Florida's lack of a state income tax.  That's eight games a year where your pay doesn't get taxed at the state level.  California taxes you at 12%.  New York is 8%.  Mutliply that out over a sixteen game season, and you make a lot more money playing in Florida than you do in a lot of other states.

I'd still take less.  Money is great but I wouldn't want to be miserable for 5 straight years.

Chip Kelly can do whatever he wants because at least he's not having Trent Baalke's offseason.

I dare say that most professional athletes are more interested in being millionaires in the sun then winning ball games.

Jaguars also threw 5 years and 20 mil at LB Dan Skuta. It's like Khan is just crappin' cash.

If that's true, I hope they wash it before giving it to Skuta. Playing in JAX is bad enough...

Gotta reach that salary floor somehow.

Jaguars also inked Packers CB Davon House. It's like they want a whole new team for some reason. Can't imagine why.

I'd love to see Indy have a serviceable running back. I'm dying to see what Luck can do when the team isn't make-or-break on every move he makes.

The Colts are also one of the teams Andre Johnson is rumored to be considering.  Giving Luck Gore and Johnson just doesn't seem fair.

Washington has made no major, splashy, over-spending free agent moves and I don't understand. It's like this McCloughan guy is... possibly not an asshole? What's he doing working here? This is all very confusing and unfamiliar and scary. Of course there's plenty of time for Danny to yank on the puppet strings for some stupid FA pet. Maybe Snyder makes him fuck up in the draft or something and I'll know what world this is again.

They're waiting for the draft, Trav. Gonna pull a Ditka.

Apparently Gore and Johnson are taking a plane trip together to go to the Colts. Oh my.

If Chip Kelly's trying to bring Oregon to Philly, Pagano's clearly trying to bring The U to Indy.

If the NFL doesn't want the teams leaking FA moves then why is their network talking about it?  Lead by example Goodell.  But seriously, is that the dumbest story ever by them?

Not sure I like the 32 year old RB and 34 year old WR combo Indy is getting.  If I'm them I go for Shane Vereen at RB.  Lots less miles a RB and you weaken NE.  Plus the guy is a catching machine.  Secondly they need defensive help.  Deflated balls or not they need to stop people.

And speaking of deflated balls-when is the NFL gonna take draft picks away from them?

per jay glazer

Saints and Seattle have now agreed on trade sending jimmy graham and a 4 to Seattle for max Unger and a 1st

WTF?

WTF?

So odd. Seattle kind of exposed Graham when they played in the playoffs a couple of years ago, and now they want him?

And now  Ngata traded to Lions.  If they don't Britta this the Lions could be a lot better.

lol Bradford to Philly.  Good luck with that.

To Philly for Foles.  Well this is interesting.

And Jimmy Graham out of the NFC South is nothing but good news for the Bucs.

Somebody hide Chip Kelly's cell phone. He's clearly drunk.

Owen Daniels headed to Denver.

Wow. Who am I to question the Seahawks, but how does that move make sense??

This is clearly the greatest NFL offseason ever!

Lovie never knew how to cover a TE.

Can't believe people wanted but no Cutty love

Jimmy Graham is now a Seahawk?

Okay. The 2015 season was fun, but it's time to pack it in. See you all in September 2016!

Mike Florio made a good point: What if the point of getting Bradford was using him to trade up to get Mariota? Lord knows the Titans could use a QB.

And Bradford is going to make that happen?

How is that a good point?  Bradford was injured in college and injured in the pros.  And as a pro-average at best.  No way in hell I'd trade for Bradford as my #1 QB when you can't count on him.

I'll go on record as saying I'll be surprised if Graham makes that big of a difference for the Seahawks.  Unfortunately they might have a cakewalk division next year as it is.

Eddie Royal may be a Bear.  Another Cutty teammate.  And the Bears had to send a 7th to the Jets to get the 5th.

*Jake Locker retiring

As always Anya, your personality is a gem.

I think it's a good point because I watched the Titans quarterbacks last season, and a legless stump Sam Bradford would do a better job than Jake Locker. Titans get a QB who is better for their system and the Eagles get Mariota.

And that's why I thought it was a good point.

FIN

Jake Locker announces his retirement. Titans fans shrug.

Looks like the Pats are close to a deal to keep Revis.

Dickson said as much.

Bradford Games played/ stats

2010 16    18/15 TD/INT  6 fumbles

2011 10    6/6  w/ 6 fumbles

2012 16   21/13  w/ 4 fumbles

2013 7   14/4  w/ 2 fumbles

2014 ZERO

He got better but he didn't light up the world when he was in.  He didn't have the best weapons but he won't have any in Philly either.

Like Rose with the Bulls you just can't trust the guy.

Revis wins every free agency.

Shaun Hill to the Vikings, Torrey Smith to the 49ers official.

Totally. I invited Derek Rose over to my house for a party, and I left him in a alone in a room with a cake. When I came back all the cake was gone!  I was like, "Derek, did you take my cake?" And he shook his head "no" with giant chimpmunk cheeks stuffed with cake.

I'll see you guys later...

I'm not saying Bradford is a world beater. I said that I understand Florio's logic. The Titans get a player who works better in their system, and the Eagles get the QB they want for theirs.

As a football fan who's alive on this Earth, I know that Sam Bradford gets injured a lot and doesn't have great stats.

Christ.

But that would imply a team with the #2 pick would pass on a rookie franchise QB in favor of a -- admit it -- failed franchise QB who's blown out a knee the last two years.

Honestly, if the Eagles wanted to get up to #2, dealing Foles would have been a much better option than Bradford.

Did they change the PI rule yet? Because I just want to make sure I am as underwhelmed as possible by the Niners' one acquisition.

Now I'm seeing the Pats feel Revis is gone.  Nobody knows what's happening, apparently.

The Titans' current quarterback is Zack Mettenberger, who is a better fit for Whisenhunt's system then Mariota. The current GM and coach, at this point, seem more enamored of picking the DE Williams out of USC if they stay at #2.

Look, I'm not saying these are GOOD decisions, I'm speaking as someone who's vaguely aware of what the Titans need.

Ah, free agency, where teams can throw good money after bad to ensure they don't accidentally become relevant.

The Revis-Pats thing was based on a fake Twitter account Peter King RT'd - http://deadspin.com/peter-king-retweets-fake-ian-rapoport-account-announcin-1690627035?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

Ah, there you go.

And of course, Bucs fans are going nuts that we "missed" on all these guys who are signing elsewhere, like we somehow had first dibs on every single one of them.

I picked them last in the NFC West the instant they fired Harbaugh, and even I'm shocked at how quickly they've imploded.

The guy I feel worst for is Kaepernick. A bed made of money is nice, but he's now in a losing situation and will shoulder 99% of the blame when the 49ers suck.
