Apparently the incident took place in 2011 at a Wal-Mart. I would seriously question my entourage if they kept urging me to go to Wal-Mart.

AJ Hawk won't be a big loss.  They can get a 2nd or 3rd rounder to do the same for less money.  They need Cobb more.

Will someone please buy this tape already.

Yeah, no shit. Isn't the point of making a lot of money so that you don't have to shop at wal-mart anymore?

"Wal-mart? WAL-MART? Fuck that, homies; we goin' to TARGET."

LeSean McCoy traded to the Bills for Kiko Alonzo.  As a Giant's fan, I'm pretty happy about this.  They really have a lot of faith that Chip can just plug in anybody into his offense.

Not sure trading a 26 year old RB in his prime is a great move. I think Chop is going to find out you still need playmakers on offense. They got rid of 2 the last 2 seasons. The Eagles better make the playoffs this year.

Oh, you didn't go to Oregon? DO NOT WANT.

Someone on Twitter said, "Chip Kelly couldn't win a national championship with Oregon so now he's trying to win a Super Bowl with Oregon."

McCoy to me is the scariest back in the league.  I know running backs tend to be disposable and dependent on the play of an offensive line, but McCoy's combination of running and receiving makes him special.  He can take it to the house on any play.  I think not having Desean Jackson last year hurt the Eagles and I think not having McCoy this year may hurt even more.

I just hope Matiotta is there at 7 and the bears trade down.

Well there goes any thought of the Eagles trying to trade up.

The Bills stay busy and trade for Matt Cassell.

Haaaaaa!! If any one moment captures Matt Cassel's time at KC, that gif is it! But in all seriousness, I'll take that trade as a sign they are sticking with EJ Manuel, and Cassel is the "veteran" QB to teach him the ropes...or something.

It's sort of amazing to me that guys like Cassel still get jobs.

He's better than Christian Ponder.

:(  1 less Bears trading partner.

The Bears should draft Mariota and trade Cutler.

I saw someone once put it as "(player x)'s main qualification as an NFL QB is that he HAS BEEN an NFL QB."

Basically, personnel guys would prefer to make the safe choice as opposed to taking a swing for the fences with an unknown. The NFL is probably the most risk-averse league out there...and that's saying something.

That's sort of like an old IT expression: no one ever gets fired for buying Microsoft.

The only franchises that really pop into mind as far as not pursuing retreads at backup QB are NE and Hou.

Hilariously, Cassel has now come in as "the other QB" for two consecutive former FSU QBs--Ponder and now Manuel. Expect to see him in Tampa in 2 years.

Those days when you wake up and your favorite player has signed with your rival.

No and yes.  I don't want a QB that hasn't run a traditional NFL offense in college.

Bears trade Marshall to the Jets.  No official details but rumor is a 5th rounder.  Fine by me.

Jets better get rid of Harvin now.

I'm surprised you're so okay with that.  Marshall was banged up last year but has been pretty productive and paired with Jeffery make a pretty formidable pair.  Is he a bad locker room guy or something?

That's what they say.  That and Alshon is basically a younger Marshall albeit not as good at that age.  The Bears were figured out in S2 and one of the reasons was neither Marshall or Jeffrey are burners.

It's addition by subtraction and saving $$$.  Now just get rid of Cutler and sign a vet QB.

Fun fact-Brandon Marshall has never played a layoff game.  Cutler has played in 2.  It's not like these guys are untouchable.  The Bears tried and they can't win with them.  Cut your losses, move on, and hope you GM can find some diamonds in the later rounds.

Cutler has played a BUNCH of layoff games. Too bad nobody's noticed.

True.  Two coaching staffs in Chicago can attest to that.

Yeah, because that's easy.

I'll take Hoyer on a 3 year deal.  Draft a QB next year unless you see a good option in rd 2/3.

I spent $70 on 3 old PFW draft previews and the non-PFW Nawrocki preview for the upcoming draft as a b-day gift to myself.

Sometimes I feel it would be more reasonable to be addicted to heroin as opposed to obsessed with football.

Dolphins get Suh-114 mil and 60 of it guaranteed.  Glad he's out of NFC and won't have to go through him to win SB.  Now if only Miami had a QB.

Enjoy, Tom.
Man, that division is going to be ugly.

If they can't get a good QB they are going to try and kill Brady.

Please god let Cutler go to the Jets. Perfect scenario-Jets trade 6 to Philly and get a ton of Picks.  They give us one of those(3rd or 4th) for Cutler.

Suh's not gonna be a big factor anymore. He was good this year, clearly playing for a big contract, congrats, but in years past where's he been. Now he's going to sit back and count his money, happens all the time with this big time free agents. Plus, your chief rival, New England, doesn't even run the ball, they're always passing and the patriots have one of the better offensive lines because they know the importance of protecting their best player. Shoulda gone out to get some good secondary guy's, like Rivas.

I wonder how he's going to handle the heat and humidity down here.  This ain't Nebraska or Michigan.

There's a lot of smoke coming out of Tempe, AZ that we're making a play for Adrian Peterson. It's confirmed that Carson Palmer and others have restructured their contracts and we're sitting on over $20 million in cap space right now. There's rumblings that the franchise let Darnell Dockett walk over a difference of $500k to keep the extra cash free.

Peterson has said his top choice is Arizona. I'm going to be really conflicted if there turns out to be fire along with all this smoke.

Peterson vs. Lynch in the NFC West?  Yes please.

I can see the billing for the first Patriots-Dolphins game next season now: Cheats vs. Cleats.
Apparently the Chiefs are signing Jeremy Maclin! Heck YES. Of course, not sure how this can happen with their current cap situation....peace out Dwayne Bowe.
Why are the Eagles self destructing?

Another WR they can throw no TD's to.

What happens when you give an unproven HC player personal control.

Yeah, I don't get why you trade away LeSean McCoy only to go throwing money at Frank Gore.

Bears get their first Free Agent in OLB/DE/DT Pernell McPhee of the Ravens.  Though they said he will stick at OLB.

I like taking young defensive players from the Ravens.

Latest prominent rumor: Colin Kaepernick is on the trading block.

This off-season, the NFL is imploding like the house from Poltergeist.

And Patrick Willis is retiring.

If the Niners window isn't closed it's only because it broke when it slammed shut so fucking hard.

If the rumor is true, the subsequent rumor is that Chicago is interested.

Oh my god, this off-season is turning out to be better than the regular season.
