hey...to much of my surprise, my pre-ordered DVDs that come out Tuesday, came in the mail on Friday!!..awesome surprise from Deep Discount DVDs. The 5 DVDs i got are:
Hills Have Eyes: this is one of my favorite movies of all time and have had to settle for one of the original VHSs for most of the nineties that i picked up at a closing video store, this June, i got to see it on the Big Screen at the Flashback Convention...and now.. an incredible DVD...im about to delve into the special features.
the other 4 DVDs were the Artisan double features of: Howling 5/6, Waxwork 1/2, Prom Night 3/4, and Watchers 1/2..
Waxwork is another of my all-time faves..but Artisan (like their Fright Night 2 dvd) has released all these movies in Full Frame versions that almost appear worse than VHS quality!!...save for Waxwork which looks better than the rest...but not good....but i have a much better looking yet still full frame Region 4 DVD....still good to have these movies on DVD though!
a couple other things Cabin Fever related...just got the soundtrack in the mail and the score is incredible if you love the movie and there are soundbites as well. Also got a new computer and made a transfer on a t-shirt of Deputy Winston holdin a beer...on the bottom it says The Party Man.... maybe no one cares, but im happy to own a Cabin Fever shirt!
