Ju-on: The Grudge Alternate Ending?

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this message. I have heard that there is a Japanese DVD of Ju-on: The Grudge that contains an alternate ending. Has anyone seen this?

Yes it does. A very long, overdrawn and pointless (not to mention confusing) alternate ending. My reaction when I saw it was "thank god they didn't do this".

It's a dragged out epilogue where Kayoko's spirit invades the lead actress, and she sees thru Kayoko's eyes her initial death/dismemberment by her crazed husband.

Deemed rather long and ineffective, director Shimizu opted for the short and sweet, bloody eyes and froggy death rattle current ending. The alternate ending and other deleted scenes are in the Korean R3 DVD.
