Yup. Funny thing is: I had a bit ago and during my whole computer issue from two months ago, I thought these were lost from my hd and hadn't had the time to download them again - to the point I forgot about it. Until I was having a discussion earlier this past week and a friend mentioned the Kyle brushes he had. THEN I REMEMBERED.

And man, I love these. Been looking for the RIGHT inking brushes, too. I have the "Framed Ink" book by Marcos Mateu-Mestre (who is now a Fb friend), and its inspired me to rethink a LOT of what I've been doing storyboarding/sketch wise. These brushes are so timely for what I want to do!

Started work on a pitch bible for a TV show. Five painted pieces, plus storyboards. Also, might be competing as a PRO FIGURE competitor later this year...lead trainer at my gym believes I can do well as a pro. So, we're planning on me competing in 6-months. Gives me time to pack on some more muscle. Yay!

Does "pro" mean you can win cold hard cash if you place high? Or is it more to do with sponsorship? Or both?

Yeah, but its not a lot of money. Just enough to start a beer fund. And the trophies aren't anything to be proud of, too. As a amateur, you can receive sponsorship, as a pro, possibly MORE sponsorship. Plus. gyms may allow you to train for free (this happened to me while I was a lowly regional competitor in the northwest). So there are some perks.

However, what you, as a competitor have to get to prepare makes the winnings even smaller: suits (that are anywhere from $150, $250 or above $500 a piece), shoes (stripper shoes), hair/makeup.....tanning/skin color...food...etc.

Meanwhile, I think I found the suit for my first figure competition.  $355, too. What. A. Steal!

You can borrow mine.

Smug: you'd better post pictures from your competition, including a picture of you hoisting the victory trophy over your head.

That suit does America proud.

I did a scene study from Excalibur. Used it as a warm up and as a break in between work....I'm getting faster with these, this took all of an hour and a half...

I'm starting my prep process for a contest. This will be my first figure contest ever and my first contest after not competing in 13 years.  After only been back into serious training for a year after seven years of NO training.  I need to be organized and prepared in every way, probably more so than any previous contest.

Usually begins with creating a training program for each cycle of the process. Right now, its a "bulk" cycle. Train for strength and muscle gains. Eat for the same reason. Then I choose a contest and I begin the pre-contest phase.

I'm going to document the prep in my Instagram.  This will be the first time ever I prepare for a contest all over social media. Crazy weird.

Latest key art for a pitch deck is completed and WISH I could post it here. It turned out GREAT and I had only two days to get it completed. Welcome to the busy world of entertainment art! Anyways, once I get the go ahead, I'll share.

I have some good filters that could help you out with the red-eye issue. Aside from that, very cool.

I've been asked this many times. If I have the time and maybe find a writer to collaborate with? Then, sure

Also, Ron Perlman. Training at my gym this morning. I found out by looking over to my right after hearing a voice that sounded familiar. And there he was.  OMG.

Busily batting away young dudes who've been sending me messages over on IG. WTF is happening over there? Aren't there enough young  chicks for them? Sooooo confused.

Meanwhile...been doing art...

Designing logos.....

Practicing (digital) inking/brushwork...

And I've been recently inundated with fitness questions/ requests for advice. I've a solution: Charge $25 for a 30-minute SKYPE session and I've posed this question to a few and they are willing to pay for whatever training advice I can give them. Sooooo, does anyone know of  a way to add a paypal button to a Facebook personal page. I know there's a way for a business page.

20s. Easily. Mid to late 20s.

A couple of these guys train at the same gym as I. I know I look young, but this is ridiculous.

Beautiful is beautiful, regardless of age, and you are indeed beautiful. Just being truthful, no skeeviness intended.

So anyway, I'm in my mid- to late-20s, posting on smug's IG, right...

Had to look up Fin Domme. Interesting.

I'm now represented by another storyboard agency and this one means serious business. As in, they want to get me work NOW. Fingers crossed!

Today, has been preparing whole slew of samples to place in my project file at the new agency's wiredrive.  And it being warm, means I've been wearing my PJs all day. Weeeeeeeee!

And I've begun cycling my diet. And today was interesting.

Piece I threw together today for kicks and giggles....

Another boxer study. Doing some sport themed drawings, just in case I'll need samples in that area.

As I'm preparing to get serious and choose a personal training recertification process, I've begun a PT Q&A via SKYPE. Have picked up some clients, time slots being filled!

$25 for a 30-min SKYPE session.  I need to find a way to permanently incorporate the Paypal button onto my Facebook page....hmmmm....

Hmm, I didn't think this was something that could be done...

Maybe so.

Although that info is five years old.

Haha, I've got that link and am using it to, for now, create a button that I can post along with a status. AND later, I'll create a simple webpage so I can place that button on and add the link to my Fb page.

Problem solved.

Today has been a day of....tests.  And looks like it'll be this way through the evening....

Had to tweak the Patreon page due to Photobucket being an ass. Luckily Flickr and Google aren't asses for photo storage. And I've been wondering why my phone has been oddly quiet all day long.  AT&T. Awesome. Been busily emailing everyone who might have tried contacting me and I don't have time to deal with AT&T right now. Need to get to the gym and then continue with SB'ing.

Z'argh!

A few pages of the Tired Shit thread recently.

I read an article that most apartments in LA don't have refrigerators and Brad confirmed it.

Yeah, its a rare thing for a apartment to have a fridge. This one did.

I'm moving this weekend, too. To a house in Culver City and that has two fridges. Score!

That's weird. I lived in apartments and rented houses in Northern CA and they all had a fridge. None had an AC tho.

My current apartment doesn't have A/C. I think you have to provide tenants with A/C by law or whatever in the Valley. But I live in a hellscape.

Yeah, but northern California is more like Oregon without the rainfall. LA is practically its own separate state.
