Going without me?

GTF!

Gurds durm it, we had a whole conversation about movies to see in the fall, settling on Thor and Justice League because you weren't interested in IT or Blade Runner.

You said you weren't interested!!!

YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KEEP ASKING.

(Srsly: I'm good catching it at home, via streaming service or library.)

Level headed reviews? The only "level headed" people who have rushed out to see it are still fanboys/girls. I'd say wait until the weekend is over until actual "regular" people have seen it.

But I'm NOT a fan of the original!!!

you'll pay for this...

Double dumbass on you if you don't see it in theaters. It's an ethereal big screen experience.

The responses seem more level headed regardless.  More mixed.  That's the point I was making.

Mixed, as stated before, is mother!. This is still leaning towards positive. I think what you mean is not "masterpiece" territory.

no it is forbidden!

Seeing this in exactly two and a half hours. When next you see me...

I'll be in the post-release thread.

that's real nice bart!

Blade Runner 2049?

Pretty good.

I saw the prequel shorts tonight. Seemed pretty cool and legit, with the exception of the anime one (I feel like the conventions and tropes of anime almost force it to overplay its hand and lurch into melodrama.)

Excited to see this!

"Sushi. That's what my Ex-Wife called me. Cold fish."

I sm going to pretend that Deckard has never been married since there's no voiceover in the Final Cut.

The last time I watched the theatrical cut, Reagan was President.

It's on screen in front of me right now.
