Johnny Boz opted out but I hadn't heard from Richard Dickson I don't think. At least I don't remember if I did.

That *was* me, but I opted out last year and didn't play.

hmm. I wonder who it was who took over the team?  I'll go look at last year's thread and see if I can figure it out there.

Jon Cassady

Last year he waited until the night before to claim the team according to the 2014 thread...

If you need me to, I wouldn't be opposed to taking it back over.

PM me your email and I will send out the invitation

All 12 teams have been accepted and all the keepers are in except for the West Coast Ghosts (Johnny Daywalker), who have accepted their team but has not responded to me about their keepers yet.

Wait, is the A-League PPR or not?

It is PPR. Here is the scoring breakdown

Thanks, I was just looking at that and I swear I couldn't find Rec = 1.  Good to go.

I am a little worried because I have never drafted in an ESPN league with keepers before and I don't know what will happen with the teams with only three keepers and no rookies. I hope those teams don't get an extra first round pick, because that is not how we do things. Should I just add a random scrub to the teams that have rookies and then let the teams replace them before anyone else makes a free agent move after the draft to be safe?

Might be a good idea just to be on the safe side.

I think we've done that before...I had an ESPN draft a week ago, but there were no keepers in it.

The scrub idea sounds like the safest alternative. Feel free to throw me any of the following scrubs: Ameer Abdullah, Melvin Gordon, or Nelson Agholor!
Just for that, give him Tebow
NO! And here's a picture in honor of our two teams meeting this very night:

p.s. Can someone please tell me how to post an image or a gif on this damn board? I'm just an old man lacking the proper PASCAL skills me thinks
post #117 of 276

Pascal? How dare you. Fortran or GTFO.

Click on the little pic icon next to the film strip, place image url, choose large and profit

Chris Prosinski, a favorite whipping boy of Jags fans. On a good team he never sees the field, yet he ended up starting two years for us. No Calvin tonight so the Jaguars are actual Vegas favorites. And if you're betting on NFL preseason football, please, just give me your money.

Can we push back the A league draft like an hour? I have a game at 1:30 p.m. and it won't be done by 3

SO, you want to push it forward an hour then?  4 EST instead of 3 EST?  I don't have a problem with changing the time if no one else does.

later always better for me.

put hilarious scrubs in unclaimed rookie spots.

Yeah sorry 4 pm would be aces. Thanks

trying to find a quick draft on yahoo for a real league.  I'll never understand giving a QB 6 points for a td.

B league rolling with 13?

I've never been in a Yahoo league before.  Will we find out the draft order before hand, or just 15 minutes before when we can log in?

We've got 12 now in the B-League. All good to go for the draft tonight
post #129 of 276

With all the different posts for A and B leagues, is my summary correct?

B League -- Yahoo, Draft at 10 PM ET tonight

A League -- ESPN, Draft at 4 PM ET on Sunday

Thought A was 4 ET

Regarding the A-League, is there any way to have keepers reflected in our draft rankings?  I may need to auto-draft on Sunday and it would be helpful to weed the keepers out of my rankings.

Yeah, I asked if we could move it forward an hour and SD said yeah

Updated--I was confused if we were moving it to 3 or 4.

I may be auto-drafting on Sunday as well...although I also might see if I can use my phone to draft.

Same here, only I'll be in a Doomtown tournament that day and not sure how easy it'll be to make picks.

45 min b league

Yo get in here

I hope all you auto drafters in the B league suck this year :)

Did anyone else's old B-League team do an auto-draft last night? I can see a newly drafted team in that old B-League, but if I click on "Draft", it brings me to my new B-League draft from last night. Weird.

I got the highest draft grade, so obviously my team is the best.

I love when they totally rip a team for drafting so bad.  This is my fav from my money league

Rose Bowl Cats was set up perfectly to draft a playoff-caliber team with the first overall pick. Instead of using that to their advantage, however, they chose to go a different route that's geared more towards losing. They're only projected to finish 10th in Deflategate_2015 League with a mark of 4-13-0 (1,533 points). With five WRs on the roster, Rose Bowl Cats loaded up on solid pass catchers; their WRs are projected to average 129 points this season, close to the league average of 132. They built the bottom QB tandem in the league, as they added Matt Ryan and Derek Carr to their squad.

But they gave him a B- grade.  His team really does suck.  He had 1st(of 12/no ppr) and took Lacy, Jimmy graham, Melvin Gordon, Golden Tate, Julian Edleman, Allen Robinson, Matt Ryan...

Like I said no ppr and he reached so hard with so many picks.  Luckily he's in my division.

Was just now able to check out my team, and the draft summary is pretty hilarious. Were they this snarky last year?

I remember getting sassed bigtime in last season's report card.

I will admit that while I complain about the Yahoo fantasy football system compared to the superior ESPN one, Yahoo kills them when it comes to the draft grades/comments...it's not even close
post #147 of 276

Yahoo is too nice.  In my $$ league this idiot drafted Arian foster in the third, Jeffrey in the 4th, Joique Bell in 5th, and rounds 10-15 drafted QB's, kickers, and defenses because he didn't know what to do.  He got B and they predicted a 12-5 record.

Yes, I vastly prefer it when Yahoo! hates my draft because it means I'm going to have a good year

I just checked and it shows Eli Manning is the number one projected pick, so I assume that they are reflected in that

That's on the Players tab.  If you go to My Team and go to edit your pre-draft rankings, all the keepers are still in there.
