I know somewhere on this board is a thread about Wendigo. It was pretty mixed. I was in the "hate it" camp.

Hi there ive just seen Dog Soldiers and i must admit i was impressed. It is relatively low budget (around £3m/$5m)and there are no transformation scenes but this film isnt really about that. You dont actually see much of the werewolves but this is probably due to budget than actually intended but it works well. Some of the acting is at best cheesy but the army dialogue is fairly convincing. The 'wtist' you can actually see coming a mile off but it doesnt spoil the film. All -in-all i'd give it about 7/10.

The Creeture and I saw 'Wendigo' at Fantasia last year, which is reviewed <a href="http://www.creature-corner.com/reviews/wendigo.php3" target="_blank">here</a>, and one of our UK reporters reviewd 'Dog Soldiers' <a href="http://www.creature-corner.com/reviews/dogsoldiers.php3" target="_blank">here</a>.

Personally, I found 'Wendigo' a bit dull, but I'd like to see it again now that I know what to expect. It's definetly in the category of thinking man's horror, whereas all the things I've heard about 'Dog Soldiers' indicates it's more focused on mayhem.
