They've got a Blockbuster deal in place with Artisan to release the thing on video in the fall. They did get some heat off the Aint-It-Cool-News review and they're hoping that that may spark a bit of interest to get it on a few screens between the SciFi premiere and the release on video.

Was it a positive Aint It Cool review? I only ask cause it seems like we're the only site around with a negative review...odd.

Yeah, it was wildly positive. Allen said that they had a great screening in Austin and the audience really went nuts for it.

What I've heard, honestly, is that this is the kind of movie you want to see with a big, rowdy audience, not on video.

Cradle of Fear website directs readers to my rather vitriolic appraisal on the corner as well. well, it worked for John Martin (obscure brit reference alert: JM was the best UK critic around; a gang bang of Joe Bob, Ebert and Bill Hicks. Highly read, very opinionated, obstinate and arrogant. What a guy. that'll raise the heckles of any other brit-crits reading I expect)
