hey i just got a dvd player without region encoding and that coverts pal to nstc. so i need some ideas for the best horror type (or other even) movies from all over the world that are available on dvd. the more obscure the better.

go to DDDhouse.com for St. John's Wort, Kairo and Uzumaki (and a shitload of really cool kung fu and wuxia flicks like Legend of Zu, Bride with White Hair and Stormriders) and visit amazon.co.uk or blackstar.co.uk to find the RING movies, Audition and others. And you must, really, find either an Asian or European copy of Battle Royale on either site - one of the best flicks ever.

Wow, you got creeped out from it, huh? I didn't really think it was all that effective, save for a few scenes. Perhaps I should give it another chance...
