This is odd, I just e-mailed Empire and got this reply.
"Dear Sir
Thank you for this bit of information, but we regreat to inform you that our sources are correct, we did not hear this news from the internet, rather then a close friend of Michael Bay. The web site may of put the news up as a prank but it turned out to be the truth."

Wierd....
Is that their actual reply, cut and pasted direct from the e-mail? Because if it is, somebody should buy Empire a spellchecker.

The only explanation (other than it being bullshit) is that Michael Bay reads Creature Corner, sees Johnny's April Fool gag and thinks "Hey, that's a great idea!". Just think, what started as a joke could actually happen. Johnny, you may have inadvertantly destroyed Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
