Just checked out the new Fangoria, and they have an article on the film that states Media Blasters is releasing the film to a few theaters in the US, and then to video in the fall. This is great news as the movie rules....

Don't Miramax own the US rights? Hopefully it's not recut and rescored.

I thought Miramax owned it, but one can always hope that this is accurate news. Especially since it seems Media Blasters would release it uncut. I'll check their website.

Or at least, some guy out there will get the "official" DVD and start selling crystal clear copies....

OK, I just e-mailed Media Blasters.

just (finally) got my region 2 copy in the mail today. hoping to slap this crazy mother in the spinner tonight

I hope somewhere GOOD gets it over here in Oregon.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Clinton St. Theater gets it. They're playing Uzumaki this week.
