Frighteners Special Edition DVD

I know a special edition laser-disc of "The Frighteners" was released a few years ago. It was packed with extras. The LD goes for more than $100 on ebay. Anyone know if they're going to release the Special Edition of "The Frighteners" on DVD, especially since interest in Peter Jackson has gone up because "LOTR"?

I hope so - The Frighteners is a vastly under-rated movie.

on horrordvds.com they had a poll to see what movie the public most wanted to see a special edition DVD of and the Frighteners got like 65% of the votes or something like that.man it would be amazing to have a special edition of that beast.its fucking amazing.
