Session 9

Just saw Session 9 on DVD. I thought it was a very creepy, atmospheric movie with a slow burn, although the ending wasn't as good as the build-up to it. All in all, still very satisfying and a wonderful horror film. When did it come out in theatres? Was it out for like only two days or something? I wish I saw it on the big screen.

It was out in about three cities, that was the problem. Luckily Boston was one of 'em and we managed to see it in theaters. Mucho creepy, I do agree.

This is the best horror movie I've seen in a long time.

I really enjoyed Session 9 as well. The ending was a bit disappointing but that didn't detract too much. I still left the theater very creeped out. I thought the scene where the boy who is afraid of darkness is running through the tunnel as lights go out behind him and then all around him was masterful. I do hope Brad Anderson sticks with horror for a little while. I would love to see his next film...
