then again, The MOS thread started out pretty positive too. We all know how that turned out.

It's all going to collapse like all those buildings in MOS too! Glorious, glorious Snyder destruction porn.

Seeing this thread pop up is genuinely surreal.

is this real?

am i real?

There is a ton of positivity coming out of the premiere. Most of it feels like it's coming from people that were going to like it regardless, but still. I'm not a big DC guy, but I still want this to be good. And I am hearing that anyone that was optimistic about Affleck's casting when it was announced have been validated.

I don't think this thread could have had a more perfect first post.

Are you out of the freaking tunnel yet? Come on man.
If you're gonna post pics of Batman in the Batwing...

..you should make it the '89 one because Keaton and Affleck share a common belief. Namely that Batwings are for blowing the shit out of goons because these Batmen give no fucks.

Buddha help us all. This is going to be Glorious.

This is how I picture Nooj in a thread.

At this point, the only thing that will ruin everything is that the movie is just pretty fine and whatever and results in little back and forth.................

BUT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE AHAWHAWHAW

Is it possible this will be the biggest Batman-related thread on the forums? It's already 31 posts long and, basically, only a single word has been said about it.

If it's like anything the STEELMAN thread morphed into then we're in for a treat.

I swear to god some folks would be disappointed if the movie turned out to be honest to god GREAT.

What are we to do with all of these sharpened knives frown.gif?

Nooj will use every knife because not because he wants to but he HAS TO DAMMIT!

CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT

Edit: Nothing so far in the trailer and the clips has swayed my opinion that this film looks incredibly mediocre.

GREATNESS would simply attract MORE FUROR AND KNIVES!

But WHY?!!?

Because we're people.

Real human people.

If I like it...my sword will remain sheathed.

Let them dissect ME and my FLAWED OPINION ALONG WITH IT THEN!

eugh.... your "look at meeeee!' martyrdom SICKENS me!

I'm not a martyr yet.

I may hate it..

No you won't!

Have faith!

After MOS it does not have my faith. But what it does have is a chance...a chance to NOT be MOS..
I saw it, but then I went into a tunnel, but it had a bright light at the end, and it turns out I'm dead and can't tell you about it.

It's a tornado, a silly tanker truck dodge, an ill-advised kiss and a "welcome to the planet" ending away from at LEAST being better than its predecessor..
You know what the oldest lie in America is, Fraid? That Snyder can improve on himself.
The fact that this thread is so entertaining only one page in makes me worried I might not enjoy BVS as much.

See....that's the beauty of this movie.

I have nothing invested in it. Take The Force Awakens for example (and I know you didn't like it commodore....I'm just sharing my perspective). I greatly enjoyed it and would have been really bothered by having not liked it. Much akin to what Crystal Skull did to me. Thankfully that wasn't the case and I felt like I'd snorted a line of pure Star Wars that went straight to the pleasure/nostalgia center of my brain....which was what I was after in the first place. If this sucks though? I can walk out of that theater and never look back and that's that. I do believe that ANYBODY can improve their skills though and I'm open to a good time. Possible that he's improved? Yes.

Probable? Well...let's just say I wouldn't bet money on it.

And godDAMN do I hate that "oldest lie in America" line..
