Zack Snyder & Joss Whedon's JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017) Pre-Release Discussion - Page 101
They really should have went with Starro as the first outing. If they do want to do him, they'll need to do it before Marvel has Shuma-Gorath popping up in a Strange movie. Having said that, have you seen how DC ruined Starro? Because it would suck if they used the newer version.
DC/WB probably doesn't went to be in this place where their big villains come off as ripoffs of characters we've already seen in Marvel movies to the general public.
This is very true. Marvel Studios has a winning formula now and knows better than to mess with it.
The McRib is the perfect symbol of the DCEU.
Even better if they followed the Death of Superman aftermath from the comics and had Cavill return in mutiple roles as the Eradicator, Cyborg Superman and Shaquille O'Neal.
He does have that mustache.
Spoilers, I guess.

Pretty sure it's the opposite. When I saw it almost every Cavill scene was a reshoot (mustache!). The only major bit from the original shoot was his original resurrection and fighting the team when he comes back confused (including grabbing Batman and dropping a "Tell me, do you bleed?"). But he flies off and it's all reshoots from there - and he's much happier and more Christopher Reeve-like.
I think the original plan was for Superman to come back dark and as an antagonist, and that's one of the major things Whedon changed.
The struggle is real.
Zack Snyder: Feminist Filmmaker!
You will be missed.
Jesus. The shot of the Amazons and male warriors from other cultures taking direction together is fucking damning. The guys are armored from head to toe.
I’ve survived worse.
I saw Batman & Robin, Judge Dredd, Suicide Squad, BvS, Eraser, Van Helsing and Wild Wild West on theaters.
Justice League won’t break me.
I actually fear the movie ending up being good enough for me to swallow my pride and eat some crow pie.
Crow pie would be a vast improvement over a McRib but I don't think you will have to. Just a gut feeling.
